What is the point of the gospel?

That a holy Creator gave the creation that was made in His image a path to reconciliation through the life and sacrifice of His only son. He doesn’t expect us to live perfect lives, because He knows we can’t. Christ did that for us.

That is very true but Jesus Himself told us to be perfect as is the Father in heaven is perfect. “Therefore you are to be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect.” ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭5‬:‭48‬ ‭NASB1995‬‬. We can live a lifestyle that is pleasing to God by turning to His word for instructions and teaching on how to live the way God calls us to live. “For whatever was written in earlier times was written for our instruction, so that through perseverance and the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope.” ‭‭Romans‬ ‭15‬:‭4‬ ‭NASB1995‬‬. Yes we are going to make mistakes and fall short. That is where the blood of Jesus comes in. His blood cleanses us from all unrighteousness. But we are not to continue in the sin once we have gain true understanding of how it will affect us and those around us. If anyone is trapped in an addiction that is where we need to reach out and ask for help and get a support group. Blessings, SouthBound01.

I am well aware that Ravi didn't end his race well, does what he say here mean that it isn't true? We are all sinners and thanks be to God for his Son Jesus, because outside of the resurrection where is the hope? Regardless of how one feels about Ravi Zacharias he did preach the word for a time which God allowed and He still worked through him, if we go by our feelings then we shouldn't even listen or read Paul, or King David, or King Solomon or Saint Peter for they all sinned too. But isn't in amazing that God will still use us even though we are still sinners. Peace be upon you, God bless.

My objective is to encourage others to read the book and get there own opinion of that book. These books that I pick have stayed with me for a long time and have helped me with my walk in life and maybe it will do the same for others. There just recommendation videos not analyzing videos. @@prophetictongue Matthew you seem like a good person. But when someone recommends a book.. they give reasons why they liked the book. I love to read books... Let me say again, I love to read books. And a good book lets the reader never ever shut up about the book...That is what a good book does. I must say I am confused on your definition of "recommendation video"... Recommendation means "something that recommends or expresses commendation"... Sorry, I just see you reading pages...thats it....Peace out....
