My wife surprise me with this experience on my birthday,I loved it

Just got back from California yesterday (live in NZ, so LOOONG flight & I'm still jet lagged after 10 hour sleep) - My wife and I watched our kids (14 and 16) doing Savi's workshop early on in our trip, and it was an outstanding experience from my perspective - very expensive - but worth the money. The actors were amazing, the ambiance was spot on, and as a Star Wars fan since I was 3 (nearly 47 years now) - it just triggered all the right buttons in me. The kids loved it too - and the final sabers are decent enough quality - I'm sure you can get much better for the same or less money - but they don't come with the experience - and most importantly, both my boys treasure them. One negative I have is I'm not much of a Disney fan anymore after this trip - whilst I found California Adventure generally very good (though everything is SO much more expensive since I was there last in 2001 - way more than I anticipated - we ended up around $4000 over what we budgeted for on incidental spending - which is just an insane amount of money for basics like food and impulse spending) - Disney Land itself has become a bit of a miserable place - they let too many people in - we were there on a Friday night, and on the main street during the fireworks, you literally could not move at all. After the fireworks we spent ages shuffling through insane crowds trying to get where we wanted to go, and constantly being blocked by barriers. For the Fantasmic Show, if we hadn't done the Fantasmic dining experience with reserved seating, I doubt we would have been able to see much. Even during the Thursday, If we hadn't had the fast passes, and my oldest son wasn't so good at gaming them to our advantage, I suspect we would have spent most of our time waiting in queues. When I was there in 2001, even during peak summer, it was nowhere near as over-crowded. They really need to look at improving park management and not over-selling tickets. Also the number of ride breakdowns was ridiculous - Rise of the Resistance we only JUST managed to do once because almost the whole of the rest of the day it was out of action - we really wanted to do it again, because it is really, really good - but again, after we'd been on it once, it was out of action until closing. Disney land was no better with rides like Indiana Jones and even Haunted House being out of action on and off most of the two days (my son used this to our advantage by gaming the system for extra fast passes just from booking rides we suspected would break down - so it did mean we had very little in the way of wait times - but I doubt most visitors would be able to manage this) Oh well, I'm nearly 50 now, and given this trip has wiped out nearly a year of savings, no doubt I'll never be back - but it's not the park I remember from when I was 26 and went there the first time.

Our group has two state rooms. If I just purchase one photo package will the photographers take pictures of me with our entire group of 7 or will it be only pictures of the 3 people in my stateroom? How many pictures can I expect to receive?

Thanks for all this info! I have 3 nights booked in Australia with my daughter and best friend :) I think we are definitely going to get the photo package, especially as a single mum who never gets photos taken of my daughter and I 🙈 I’d love to be able to get more professional quality photos taken of my daughter and I enjoying our time :)

i wanna do it for the experience of the work shop, but the quality of the sabers seem very sub par compared to companies that u can find online.

Quality wise ? probably not. You can get more durable sabers from other companies but the experience of building it even though its a short presentation was worth it to me.

We have 3 miniature Poodle's that get trimmed all the way down, 4 times durring the summer. 4 X 3 = 12 cut's per year. Imagine the yearly bill on that. This trimmer is a must.

I was on this cruise. It was nice watching some of the memories again. My wife and I are now planning on doing a Christmas cruise and taking our son.

We cruise on the Magic in spring 😊 this is our 4th with DCL but 1st on the Magic. So excited! One thing that we love that a lot of people don't know about is the free room service also has some hidden menu items that you can request. Cake in the day, Mickey ice cream bars, and warm cookies at night or among our favorites

Got to do mines 2 days ago on my birthday and it was a fun experience. Definitely right about some of the peaces looking better or different in person. Watched some videos on what I was going to build but ended up building something different than what I imagined in my head.

I'll be frank. Disney sabers are garbage. They still use two decades old tech that Master Replicas developed in 2002. Disney made no major improvements other then the removable rgb blades. The custom saber community has gone leaps and bounds forward with the same tech and offer much higher quality playback and overall experience. There are many options priced at or just above Disney sabers if one isn't inclined to spend more on the really good sabers. With the existence of these sabers Disney saber are simply not worth anyone's time. However from what I seen the Savi's experience does look really nice. I would go just for that and sell the saber.

Sir, well done. I've been a mobile dog groomer for 20+ yrs and you picked the best clipper for your job.... in my opinion. They are worth the money and now you know why first hand. Cheers! "Pet" clippers are never a good investment for anyone. Especially labeled as pet kits with other stuff included. 🫤
