Mosaic Youth Chorus sings outside Ellis Island Hospital
The chorus (from Bethlehem, PA) took a tour of the hospital, which I led. The singing happened near the end of the tour. I didn't think to ask the name of the song, which clearly has an immigrant theme. If you know the name, please put it in the comments.
Thanks for watching. If you're interested in the tour, visit saveellisisland.org for details. #saveellisisland

The first song's introduction mentions the radio broadcast Nashville Sunday Night. Although the other songs may come from the same source, there's no way to know for sure because the recording isn't labeled. Versions of most of these songs were included on Los Lonely Boys' major-label debut album, released in 2004, or on the "Live at Blue Cat Blues" album, officially released in 2006. Here's an...

If you ever find the second album, let me know. I'd love to have a digital version, at least. I found the first one at the Austin Record Convention a few years ago, and the dealer said it was only the second one he had ever seen. The second looks to be even tougher to locate.

Does anyone have a copy of their second independent album, Teenage Blues, that they would be willing to sell? Or is there anyone who can copy the songs as .wav or .flac files and send them online? If so, please contact me privately. I have been unable to find the album anywhere even though it's listed in several discographies. Thanks.

Los Lobos had become a five piece in the year prior to this show after they poached Steve Berlin from The Blasters. They had released one 7-song "Extended Play" on Slash Records called "...And A Time To Dance" (in addition to their prior independent release from 1978 called "Los Lobos del Este de Los Angeles") by this point. They play all the songs on that EP in this show in addition to lots of covers and several songs that would show up on "Will The Wolf Survive?", released in October 1984, and one that appeared on "By The Light Of The Moon" in 1987 (My Baby's Gone).

@@ShiceSquad yeah, touring even one foreign country once is not so common. he had bad luck: low promotion and considering the releases of popular culture products, genres and artists at the time that went big - Indiana Jones, Glam rock, Star Wars, hiphop... there was a lot of s* in Sixto's way no matter how high quality and unique his own product was.

David, seeing as you have uploaded this, you might also have heard of a rare alternate version of their self-titled album? As far as I remember, it had alternate versions of all their songs on their album. I cannot find ANY mention of it anywhere, but I’m desperately searching for it. It’s not a live album, but recorded professionally in studio setting. Someone help me find it!
