Ospreys are truly incredible. They put in so much effort to catch their meal. 😍
Don't Hear These Anymore Around Here Where I Live.
Habitat loss, changes in food availability, and environmental factors are major threats to this species, putting it at risk of becoming endangered. This was the very first time I’ve seen this beautiful bird. They migrate here in late spring.

The Z9 is definitely a fantastic camera for videography.

Thank you so much. 🙏🏽 Yes, swans do exert considerable effort to take flight. Their large size and weight require a strong takeoff. But once airborne, swans are graceful and efficient fliers, but the initial takeoff is indeed a strenuous activity.

Used to hear those back in the mountains
Due to habitat loss, they've experienced population declines. They are so beautiful; hopefully, they'll make a comeback so we can hear their beautiful call more often.

Thank you. Urban setting with nearby woods and the small owl or owls when then catch a rodent sit atop telephone poles and very little is left as inedible falls at base of pole. Small owls because urban setting can only accommodate smaller wingspans. Unfortunately, urban settings are becoming more and more "manicured" discouraging everything from owls to songbirds. Gardens are mulched deeply and there is literally little or no soft bodied insects that birds could feed their hatchlings.
