I am in great need of help. My (earthly) mother is a Christian, but she ONLY believes in the 4 gospels. So all of the Old Testament and the rest of the New Testament is not something that she believes. I just find it very troubling and I said to her: “ Without the prophecies of the Old Testament, the people would not be able to see him as the Messiah.” Please help me. God bless 🙏

dude the bookstores in turkey is so weird. they have sharia (islamic law) books, books that curse christianity and then books full of sex and even some satanic books in the SAME store. and there where no bibles, but i found a torah in one of the bookstores but there is no new testament so i read bible as a PDF. love from turkey by the way i converted to catholicism and i learned to pray the rosary and i will have baptism soon( i hope). like our bookstores are not bad as american ones but i found al*ster crowleys book of the law, like this guy called himself beast 666, who the hell translated this wicked ahh book to turkish? these wicked satanists are everywere now, may God almighty protect us...

You don’t even have to watch the video to know it’s error. Sedevacantism is a theory proposed for the hypothetical scenario many believe we are in today, untested by any ecumenical council or papal decree. It is possible according to saintly doctors of the Church. If you’re truly Catholic, you’ll reserve judgement for the magisterial decree of a dogmatic council, not your feels.

It is not the Ordinary Mass of Pope St. Paul VI that is the problem! It is the fact that seminaries are not teaching seminarians to say mass reverently. The Church allows two forms of the Mass in the Latin Rite. Those who follow the Extraordinary Form of the Mass do so because it is more conducive to their spirituality. In time, these two forms of the Mass will become one!

The Mass of the Ages is so much more than ad orientem, chant, Latin and incense. The entire Liturgy is significant in every prayer and posture. A Low Mass TLM even without chant and incense is still more rich than novus ordo. I could go on but much more learned people have done more. See Fr Mawdesly.

My favourite part of todays novus ordo was when the priest started encouraging the men to sing louder and then also the woman.. its so great to feel included and like the mass is about us and not something that happened waaaay back in the past! I also loved it when the priest sang along off key to all the songs, letting us know God doesn't care and Gregorian chant was basically a waste of time! We're all so special in our own unique way.

The Diamond brothers and the Feenyites are wrong about the necessity of baptism by water, and the proof of this is biblical: Christ canonized Dismas the Good Thief from the Cross, and there is no way Dismas was baptized with water in the Father, Son and Holy Spirit; because Christ’s divinity was not fully revealed until the Resurrection, hence Christian baptism did not exist until that full revelation. The baptism of John was not the baptism of the Church, but a precursor of it, pointing to it. None of the patriarchs like Moses or Elijah had been baptized, but we know they are saints, see the Transfiguration where they appeared in glory with Christ.. The Diamond brothers are crack pots, in other words, who should be ignored because they’re spewing warped nonsense.

Vatican II was not the evil, terrible catalyst of the downfall of Western Civilization. It's far easier to build up a straw man and say its bad than to truly engage with its complexities. Before passing judgment, take the time to understand it-read Sacrosanctum Concilium, Dei Verbum, Lumen Gentium, and Gaudium et Spes. I say this as a fellow Trad Catholic, still learning myself, and as someone who has come to love the beauty of Trad Catholicism and is striving to embrace it. However, where I differ from many other Trad Catholics is in the outright condemnation of Vatican II. Dismissing Vatican II without fully understanding it is just as intellectually dishonest and lazy as abandoning faith not because you’ve searched for truth and found it lacking, but because it’s more convenient to live as an atheist, theist, agnostic, so you don't feel the guild of or have to fell sorrow for sinfulness and vice.
