This iteration of it has been popularized in movies in the last couple of decades. The original didn’t have antlers but was more demonic looking
@@dockthehunter I think there was confusion between "deer people" and wendigo some years back and the whole antlers on wendigo's became a standard. If you remember watching Wendigo 2001, and Lost Tapes season 3 episode 7 Wendigo: American Cannibal they described it as a "deer-like creature". In SuperNatural season 1 episode 2 "wendigo" was a more accurate depiction of the wendigo. That particular episode was released September 20 2005 while the other was released October 19 2010. Then October 29 2021 Antlers came out not a real depiction of a wendigo also. I honestly think It started with Algernon Blackwood's novel "The Wendigo". back in 1910, which featured an illustration of the wendigo as a faun-like monster with antlers, and thus the association was born, although most pop culture wendigo in the 20th century were either werewolf-like or bigfoot-like, the antlered wendigo was also used, like in the 1995 movie "Frostbiter: Wrath of the Wendigo. Native tribes such as the Algonquian people spoke of this creature hundreds of years ago with real descriptions of wendigo, and that it's an evil spirit who will never be satisfied with hunger.

I just started playing this game about a month ago and I hear two different things. Some people say you can’t shoot the smaller deer and you shooting zones and leave the small deer in your exterior zones. I’m still confused.
Im like 400 kills and 9 diamonds in and my respawn have been terrible lately
I am new here. My personal favorite map is Revintuli. I have played the game since console launch. I haven’t spent much time on the new mini map yet so I have no opinion on it just yet.

I feel like the only map I don’t agree with is Sundarpatan…. To me it belongs in the S tier… it has unique animals you can’t hunt on any other maps in the game and the unique way of adding heavy dense foliage and open rivers and drinking holes is perfection… plus it has the 2 rarest and most beautiful animals in the game imo… the snow leopard and the bengal tiger… the map always keeps you on ur toes cuz you could die at any second but the amazing atmosphere always has me drawn in and ready to hunt hunt HUNT! ☺️
Shooting small animals isn't bad when you have too, it's just more low levels give a higher chance of a bigger one spawning, my first diamond whitetail was a respawn of a level 1 bc my zone turned to all lvl 1s. It is good to leave all low levels if you can though
Man I love the gator/croc in this game. They flee on land but you can just chill with them in the water as long as they don't go aggressive
