Centimeter by the peggies Organ Cover
Centimeter by the peggies, first opening of the anime Rent-a-Girlfriend. Not a big fan of the anime but I like the music.
I was just going to practice and upload a short section of the song but I ended up doing most of it. I did not expect to have to practice so much for that ascending pedal scale near the end. Whew.
Let me know what you think in the comments.

BWV 543 A Minor Fugue Interlude
Просмотров 304День назад
This is one of my favorite sections of Bach's Fugue in A Minor. It sounds like a prayer, in my opinion. I lowered the reverb a bit so that you can hear the counterpoint better. Played on the Viscount Cantorum Duo Plus organ. Let me know what you think in the comments.
BWV 548 E Minor Fugue "Wedge" Opening Abridged

Playing the opening (with an abridged ending) of Bach's Fugue in E minor "Wedge" (BWV 548) on the Viscount Cantorum Duo Plus organ. I find this to be a polarizing fugue. Some people really like it while others don't. I am in the former category, as it is one of my favourite fugues. Very fun to play as well. Let me know what you think in the comments below. Just wondering how long it'll take bef...
Bleach Opening 8 Cover on Organ (Chu-Bura by Kelun)

For the record, this does not affect my other content. I have quite a few classical organ pieces I still want to record but I just wanted to try this out. I don't know if there's much interest in organ anime music but here we go. This is not a note-for-note transcription. I am new to playing anime music on the organ, so I am still experimenting with different styles to see what works. I am tryi...
BuxWV 161 Passacagalia in D Minor

Playing the entirety of Buxtehude's Passacagalia in D Minor (BuxWV 161) on the Viscount Cantorum Duo Plus organ. I do quite like this piece, it is tricky in some sections but sounds very meditative. I had recorded the whole thing when I realized I had the wrong reverb setting on... Lesson learned... Let me know what you think in the comments.
BWV 540 Toccata in F Major Opening
Просмотров 1,4 тыс.2 месяца назад
Playing the opening (first 2 pages or so) of BWV 540 Toccata in F Major by Bach on the Viscount Cantorum Duo Plus organ. This is my first time using Da Vinci Resolve to edit this video, and uploading in 4K! I've been uploading in 1080p until now. I am still fiddling with some of the settings. Make sure you don't miss the pedal solo at 01:05. Let me know what you think in the comments.
BWV 582 C Minor Passacagalia Opening

Playing the opening (first two pages or so) of BWV 582 by Bach on the Viscount Cantorum Duo Plus organ. I plan to one day record the whole piece, but I am still testing out the organ so I am starting with recording shorter clips. Let me know what you think in the comments.

Playing a section of BWV 582 by Bach on my new Viscount Cantorum Duo Plus organ. I am so excited to have this instrument! Hoping to make more uploads soon. I finally have an organ to record on reliably. Let me know what you think in the comments.

Kiki's Delivery Service (Hareta Hi ni) on Keyboard
Bravo, très bien joué. Avez vous des enceintes supplémentaires sur l'orgue ?
Thank you. The organ does have built-in speakers but they're not that great. I usually listen using headphones.
Are you playing a VST?
No, this is the sound coming directly from the cantorum organ
Magnifique ! Je viens de recevoir mon Cantorum Uno Plus, je me régale comme vous avec cet instrument extraordinaire !
Bonjour et bravo ! Quelle réverbération utilisez-vous : celle du clavier ou une autre ?
Built-in reverb on the keyboard
@@Picotech11 Merci ! On attend maintenant la suite de la toccata et la fugue !
@@DuoDelmarle I cannot promise on the fugue, but I hope to record the full toccata one day. I am waiting for my super/sub coupler box to arrive.
Bravo. Well done. I was looking to see if you played the foot pedals barefoot (like I do) or with shoes or just socks.
When I first got the organ I played barefoot because it was easier (didn't need to put my shoes on). But if the pedal part is more involved I definitely play with my shoes. Easier to use my heel too with shoes on. Lately if I am lazy I play with my slippers on, but it's clunky.
@@Picotech11 Interesting. Thanks for the reply.
Mate, you play really really well! I have also a Duo Plus! My reccomendation regarding reverb is to modify the parameters of reverb to have a more realistic experience! Are you recording with external audio device?
Thanks! I do fiddle with my reverb every so often. I just forgot this video to change it back to a setting I like. I have it connected to my audio interface which is connected to my computer.
❤❤❤
Terrible!!!😬😬😬
What is music without experimentation? We'll be Bach to Bach next week
Wait?....what?......you're either mean spirited, or definitely not a musician. I've been a keyboardist for 60 years and would dare to say this is a beautiful performance and a one up-shipment to my own performances. Terrible?.....post something you've performed and we'll be the judge.
Have you played for 60 years? Time wasted in the toilet!!! 😂😂😂
@@PleinJeu-nv2ss With all due respect, sir, such rude and intolerant comments are not welcome on my channel. If this continues I will have to moderate your responses.
I need full ver of this ❤
Pico, there are many other organists here on RUclips that have also done organ covers of anime music. Believe it or not, there is an audience for that genre of music when played on the organ. I don't mean to brag, though feel free to check out my playlist here to see for yourself: ruclips.net/video/vieBANNDs7s/видео.html
👍👍👍
Thanks
Pieza larga y difícil.
Of course 😂🎉😂
Great job! The Duo Plus sounds really good! Are you using the Cantorum's built in Reverb or using a plug-in reverb on your computer?
Built in reverb on the cantorum. From what I recall I've used "large chapel" and "medium church" so far. I tinker with dry/wet mode too.
That's cool! I'm glad their reverb is sounding a lot better now. I saw they had a major update on Physis Plus organs several months ago addressing the reverb. It's definitely made a difference.
@@ryanforrest9524 I'm not sure why but it sounds a lot better from the Prog Out ports compared to the headphone port. If I listen/record from the headphone port it doesn't sound very good.
What an outstanding performance. As a fellow keyboardist.....I'm guessing you've endured a regimented 5 hour daily rehearsal schedule. Nobody just wakes up one day and plays Bach as well as you just did. Very impressive, especially the foot pedal performance. Me?....I play the foot pedals barefoot so I can "feel" the foot keys. I've tried playing while wearing shoes but nope...............barefoot for me. Keep up the good work. Do you know how to get to Carnegie Hall in New York? ....Answer: "Practice."
Thanks. For me, when it comes to practicing, it's quality over quantity. I don't think I've ever spent 5 hours a day practicing but yes, this is a result of a lot of practice.
Your Cantorum sounds very good , mine is not like that , we have the same model , do you changed the settings ?
You have the duo plus? I made some slight changes (reverb, pipe set, slight voicing), but nothing too crazy. How are you listening to your cantorum organ? Built-in speakers? Headphones? I find the sound is a lot better when I listen to it through my audio interface (I have it plugged into two prog. out ports at the back).
@@Picotech11 Yes it is a Duo Plus and I am listening by the Built-In so I think that the sound is not like extraordinary ... But Thank you !
This Cantorum Sounds good, other ones artificional
Outstanding performance. Bravo. You could have at least missed a note or two during your performance to confirm that you're human. All that and with foot pedals too is just incredible. I'm extremely impressed. Signed: 70 year old fellow keyboardist.........I'm a 1980 Yamaha CS01 synthesizer, 1963 Wurlitzer organ, and a 2017 Mellotron M4000D player myself. Well done.
Wow I am flattered by your comment. Thank you very much. Hope you will continue to enjoy my future videos.
@@Picotech11 You're welcome. I reminisce practicing 5 hours a day, every day, plus before school section rehearsal, one hour band class during school, and 2 hours after school concert, orchestra, and marching band practice. It was tough, and I loved every minute of it. Musicians have a gift not everyone can understand. Looking forward to your next performance. Thank you for the reply.
@@stargate1555 There is one thing age can't take away from us, the love of music.
Nice ❤
Good job !
make a tutorial, please :(
Do you use garageband? I no longer have the garageband file, but I think I used the piano software instrument for the melody, and electric piano for the background/accompanying tracks
can you please make a tutorial video?? this is the best cover I have seen yet, sounds exactly like the original
@pikachu832 Oh it's part of iLife on mac, this time I forgot to change the time to 3/4 so it's 4/4 here for no reason. Let me know when you finish your guitar version :D
what's garageband exactly? :p I'm planning on doing a guitar version of this song.
