I've had cursor bug like 3 times, we play a lot so it's not that bad, quickly change the desktop configuration so i don't move my cursor off screen and it's much more sluggish to look around but it's manageable My bf gets it every other match, i don't know how he copes I get 2-3 crashes a session and jalf the time we die because of it it's so bad

I think Crytek should put the update and map on the test server just to be sure... It would be the right decision.. And yes TAKE OUT GHOST FACE it does not belong makes the game look dumb

I am so excited for lawson delta. I miss desalle SO MUCH too. I am so excited to see the old maps that I even loaded into a shooting range just to see that map again. I am so excited for hunt and it has been on such a positive streak recently but I am scared they are oversaturating the game a little too much. I kinda hope this 2.2 update comes without a battlepass and just do bug fixes for a bit.

Came back cause I'm looking at splitting my audio instead of just using Desktop Audio for everything. If you add an Application Audio Capture source for a game, will the audio from the game still be included in the Desktop Audio capture?

What would you like to see in the big 2.2 update?

It's not just AMD. The game engine is just absolute trash. It's incredibly bad. It's actively trying to fry and kill all sort of hardware. Intel, AMD, Nvidia alike.

Honestly I’m f2p and I would say it isn’t a cash grab at all unless you really want to collect every single card. Like the game has the make revenue somewhere because it is free. I play clash Royale and that game is so much worse because cards have levels to them. In this game a f2p player can win against a person who spends thousands.

I feel like they released it incomplete, only 3 booster packs gets super repetitive in battles pretty quick, they better start releasing new Pokémon and modes because although I like the game, it definitely gets repetitive and boring fast.

I got the on day one. I'm 19 cards away from completing it. My Son and Daughter both got it the same day as me. We haven't spent a dime on the game. Just grinding. I have the 3 animated ones, Pikachu, Charizard, and Mewtwo. My daughter got all 3 Kanto starter full arts on her second day. To say its a cash grab, while yes there is micro transactions, but every app has this now, lacks any substance behind it, when you clearly don't have to spend a dime to enjoy the game and catch them all. My opinion on the game is, its fantastic, let me explain why. Would you wanna buy 2 packs a day for both of your kids? Or let them open 2 packs a day for free? Do you wanna spend what, $20 bucks a day for your kids to enjoy pokemon cards? It's awesome hearing them squeal and run up to me, LOOK DADDY I GOT A FULL ART LAPRAS, that I didn't have to spend a dime on. Rant over.

while i do undertsand and argee with the cashgrab part i think this game is stil good in the same way dual links is. that one also is a big cash grab and hase a lot of players but didnt kill yu gi oh. both games are fun to me and other players who want to do a short and easy match that ist in yu gi oh case one turn takign 30 minuts and then you lose couse you didnt go first. atm i havent hade a singel pice of money spend on this game and i got all i need from it since im not focusing on collecting or even meta im just useing it to play random, matches and with friends when watign fro stuff like the buss or during work reces, or heck even the fact that i wake up every day and open 2 packs is just fun enoug.

On my first or second day I opened a full 10 packs.... nothing good, that speaks for itself

Yes, it's a cashgrab with slot machine mechanics. But the light version of the card game is fun, you can always play with random people if no friend is avaible and trying different decks is also fun. I wouldn't say it's a bad game (except the ui and usability, that aspect is shit) if you take it casually f2p but is dangerous if you like to collect fancy cards (and they are exactly the same as the non fancy easy to get ones actually) or are weak to gacha mechanics.

This is a horrible take and been playing free for week and I have most of the rare arts and 3 of the animated cards this game is free to play woth options to buy gold to get more packs

trading card games ARE a microtransaction nightmare lol. They are the original microtransaction. This game is pretty decent imo. havent needed to buy anything to collect stuff. The new energy system is a lot better imo. as for trading its coming its just currently not up yet. They likely want to iron out all the bugs and stuff first and make sure people cant hack cards into the game. You can see it in the social section.

Its definitely a cash grab but so is selling trading cards. Lol your buying cardboard. But this is a lot funner and you dont have to worry about scalpers. But it is technology that can be programmed to screw you out of your money. Just like online gambling

How do you do a review without reviewing the actual gameplay and battle mechanics?

I think it’s funny people demonizing the game when it hasn’t even been out for 2 weeks and it’s already doing more for f2p players than most mobile games. The game is in its infancy… I give it a couple major updates and it’s going to easily be the best card game on the store.

As someone who plays both Pokemon and Yugioh, I can tell you exactly how this app will go. Duel Links started off being a super simplified version of Yugioh with minor rules modifications and lacked a crafting system (I think to that last one). It was fine for brief moments, where you just want to get a quick game of what feels like playground Yugioh, "back before things got so ruined by modern game design". However, eventually, they had to power creep, bit by bit, or else people wouldn't buy the new stuff, they'd just keep playing the old. Eventually, they stopped with direct power creep, and started with complexity creep, until the game feels like it's closer to modern-day Yugioh, but with half the starting life total. And I feel this app is going to go down the exact same route. Power creep for the first year, then complexity creep as people grow bored with throwing the same basic mons at each other until the game evolves into modern-day Pokemon with 3 prizes instead of 6, leading to an extremely dissatisfied feeling that you didn't get a proper game in or couldn't do that neat thing you wanted to, especially as EX mons take over and each game is over in 2-3 turns. And absolutely none of this touches on the microtransaction nonsense of apps like these, which are "half versions" of their base games.

Fun game boring video. I never allowed to to use notifications - why would I? Game is fun though and not tempting to pay for at all - one extra pack a day for $10 a month? No - not even close to worth it and I appreciate they structure it so straight forward and unappealing unless you just have extra cast to drop on it.

I wish more people were immune to blatant cash grabs like this. The worse is youtubers selling the app as a great app, a life changer, when we know they were given credit to pay for packs and obviously have increased odds. Most youtubers have at least a gold card already. To make it worse, the app is so annoying, you gotta tap many times to get a single thing done. And it does not run smoothly for such a simple concept (android).

What's your opinion on Dimensionals?

I played about 15 hours of it on PS5. Gameplay is good I have been playing MH since the MH World edition and can say this version evolved a lot with all the weapons. The main problem is optimization. The game needs it on all platforms as it had a lot of frame drops on PS5 and you need a beastly PC to run it with decent frames. Apparently Capcom dedicates the remaining time until launch specifically to work on optimizing the game so hopefully it will run better.

I agree with most of what you say in your video. But from 4:16 - 5:00 watching you not heal your big bar, then almost heal it, then stop, then go shoot one Caldwell shell each time before immediately reloading after each shot was something 😅

SUREFOOT IS STILL BROKEN. When you pledge to the wilderness pack and get surefoot it is bugged and has been the whole two weeks the event has been going. If you pledge and get that pact then crouch. Just hold W while ADS and your sights will not be aligned. Probably due to the increased movement speed when crouched, the kicker is that it persists if you decide to stand up. Funny enough when you crouch again the bug seemingly toggles itself off but now you don’t get the increased crouch movement speed, once again upon crouching another time you will now be unable to move forward and aid with any considerable accuracy. Pressing A or D while moving forward significantly reduces the effect and shots are much easier to hit but when you are holding W only it is basically impossible to hit anything beyond 5M away. If you really want to see how terrible this glitch is go to the shooting range with the nitro. It’s hilarious to see 😅 also it seems the longer the gun is the more out of line the shot is placed. This glitch killed me so many time before I realized what was happening. I Shift+W all the time and I think I have pretty snappy aim but I was not hitting any shots, I also only ran Surefoot.

Think the biggest problems are low skill/ cheese additions like remote explosive and insta revive from range. Game is 10x more interesting durning events, they should definently not both for fun and for game health have long breaks between events.

Good points, mate! One thing I would add is that with having constant events where pledging and getting cash is an integral part of the game, hunt turned into a walking simulator. Every game you go to a cart, then clues, then center point, then boss, then extract. And you often end up having small, pointless fights. After the event, we had a couple of games where we just went to the boss (solo boss!) and had a great fight there. No running around, no pledging, no getting cash, just boss and fight. It was a good balance between action and no action that is currently lacking in both bounty clash and the regular game mode.

Comparing hunt to fortnite or cod, even in the state/direction it is going, is such a massive stretch.

Hunt has always had a super negative community or sometimes a toxic positive one. People are being over dramatic about the skin if u don’t like it ok, if u like it ok but why the need to write a Reddit essay of 500+ words to say nope this THIS small thing broke the straw 😂 hunt has had such bad bugs and is so broken in it’s spaghetti code since launch most of the community doesn’t even realise this.

I came to hunt for it's unique environment, and identity amongst the FPS genre. If it moves towards COD, or anything that is away from what brought me into hunt I will simply leave.

I really have a problem with the game beeing more Event than Vanilla Hunt just for -in my opinion- monetization and those kind of players that always need something else and new just to keep their attention on the game. Vanilla Hunt would be perfect if crytek would implement some serious Health Updates and not content after content after content for alle the short attention span fortnite Kiddies. For fuck sake this feels like somebody paints the soccer field in a different color every two months and comes up with different rules. Either you like the base game or not. I not then please play one of the basic games which are already out there.

Although you are correct about not having to buy it... Today I had to see it on other players. Uninstalled it after. after 1.5k+ hours

That Ghost Face skin was the straw that broke the camels back for me after the Crytek put the game back into early access with the engine update. This is the first event in three years that I haven't touched and I definitely won't be coming back.

They've been trying to cater to a more mainstream audience in expense of the game's identity for a while now. Hunt is nothing like how it was back when I picked it up, and I fear it will get more and more generic as time goes on.
