ToG Concert on the Commons Part 1 August 2012
A few highlights from our hour-long concert as part of the Warrenville Library's 2012 summer series. In this video: 2/4 March Set introduction ("flash-mob" style, just for fun), followed by Bride's Jig, 6/8 march set, tenor competition solo, and competition medley. We had lovely weather and a good turnout, and really enjoyed the experience.

Edinburgh is a sort of gothic fairytale city, and it can be a gothic horror city as well. Somnath Sarkar - Kolkata, India
Haunting...love it!
Goodnight my friend 😢
I disagree with anyone who thinks this originated with the "Last of the Mohicans", check a history of this songs origins.
It's been decades but still gives me chills. From sound track Last of the Mohicans.
Salute to my Connelly/Conley family and blood from Armagh/Belfast NI & Scotland! 🪶⚔️🏴⚔️🪶
Never tire of hearing this. 🫠👍🫡🏴🇦🇺🦘
My heart
There is not a better musical sound than hearing bagpipes...
Bravi, seri ed umili non come certi musicisti che sono solo degli esibizionisti.
Meraviglioso 😍
Very emotive
You will also remember Brave Heart and Robert the Bruce
Play These at my funeral
Cuánta belleza. Impresiona.
THE 13 BAND PLAYERS PROVED THEY ARE THE MEMBRS OF RSDG. HATS OFF - SCOTLAND. FROM SOMNATH SARKAR - FOUNDER OF SCMS-KOLKATA, INDIA
What? I live not to far from here. This is Sterling in Scotland famous site through William Wallace but mostly through Robert the Bruce winning both battles against the English who had 5 soldiers to every 2 Scots plus English had thousands more Cavalry and better equipped but the Bruce not only won he totally routed the massive English Army out Scotland completely. That's Robert The Bruce's statue you see. The Wallace Monument is close to here also.

This 🏴
My bride walked down the aisle to the gael played by a piper. It was beautiful.x
Every able body is marching to fight against the devil's in America n the world. GOD over government. Let's show them how the Scots March as the Gael is the march of the Angels n Saints. Now march over to America. We're taking over World War 3 compliments of Mary Queen of the Angels n Queen of the Scots. WAHAO
Kiwi born and bred...Only a very small amount of Scot in my bones but the pipes speak to my heart ❤ and The Gael really stirs me. One day before I die, maybe, I will make the trip to Scotland.
the band sounds really well tune nice job cheers
Always loved the pipes I remember first time ever hearing them many many years ago in germany heard Scotland the brave in a parade
Nice to hear the phrasing played so clearly and not rushed so the real melody really shines through - shame I can't have the band behind me when I play this myself :-)
Makes me so proud of my heritage.
Scots Dragoon Guards are different class. Proud Scot here 🇬🇧♥️🇺🇦
God save Scotland.
Stirs the heart. Gordon clan.
Lovely,,,,,from the land of my fathers

@@Mugdorna Most English love our Culture, it's probably people from Countries we once Colonized.
Aye, and they're sporting the Stewart Tartan!
Love this music.....Scotland forever.
My favourate video of RSDG playing the Gael. Nice to see the Bruce back in his saddle, very inspiring.
with enough...non-white diversity...this will all be lost...forever
We are a country that is 97 percent indigenous Scots demographically. I think we will be fine.
F'ng badasses every one. If you've ever played the pipes you would know how hard this really is. Awesome. Saw this band in person once, unbelievable.
I worked in Fallingbostel in Germany, they were based there until 2015, it was awesome listening to them play.
Viva el clan celta.

How could 6 people not like this
this music stirs all my passion deep within my heart and soul
Exactly! Just like William Wallace!
@@besnikzogaj9887Robert the Bruce is the real hero in Scotland he not only won outnumbered 2 Scots Soldiers to every 5 English who had superior weapons and thousands more Cavalry but he totally routed them the English out Scotland all together and led Scotland until his death not in some huge Castle, the Bruce chose to sleep with his men in their barracks. William Wallace was fighting to keep a weak Scottish King on the throne. Wallace was obviously a great guy and definitely for his time who probably inspired Robert The Bruce when he rebelled against the English just after Wallace's Death. I'm a Scot and my surname is Wallace but I still can't be biased because the Bruce played a far bigger roll and gave us Century's of Independent Scottish Culture and traditions. 👍
brill
Can't beat the bagpipes.
