Totk plays more like a Ubisoft game than anything. I try to do everything in most games i play, but both totk and botw got boring af and tedious to me after less than 100 hours in each. Meanwhile, ive 100% elden ring, beat the dlc, and my first thought is to make a new character again instead of stopping and playing something else. Idk if Fromsoft just scratches that itch in the perfect way or what, but new open world zelda feels aggressively mid to me

I think that Elden ring ultimately gives you wayyyyy more content in the game except maybe every korok seed before you have nothing new to find or experiment with, both botw and Totk are great but over 200 hours and you’ve seen literally everything you can for the game. I’m a huge Zelda fan and was disappointed by totk because it really felt underbaked, stuff like the depths in Zelda have barely anything of notable value within them making it redundant as a “second map” at the end of the day it’s all opinion ig

🎼 Some people call me the space cowboy 🎼 I'm really enjoying it too, despite it's flaws. At 25hrs in finally got my first CTD. Having been playing BGS games since Morrowind, I can see the polish. But it's far from perfect. It is Fast Travel: The Game. That takes me out of it a bit. But overall, enjoying the gameplay loop.
