Beautifully said! Rebbe Nachman has teachings in Likutey Moharan about how often we are so close to our destination, and the Yetzer Hara tries his best to deceive a person into thinking that all hope is lost. The closer we get to meaningful destinations, the more the Yezter Hara tries to stop a person from reaching it. Basically, the more the person is bombarded with the Yetzer Hara, it doesn't necessarily mean they are doing something wrong. It can very well mean the opposite, if they are putting their effort into the right things.
