A meditation on love in remembrance of Ricky Wilson. Much love and gratitude to Snatam Kaur for such a beautiful song.
Washed Out is awesome. Thanks Keith!
A most beautiful video for a most beautiful song. Thank you so much Keith. Were I stranded on desert island & only have one song to listen to, this would probably be it.
More one year of Ricky's day. 71th ❤
A wonderful song - I’m in a hotel room in Hong Kong at 3am listing to this on my Sony Walkman and it’s 1990 . Just a flashback !
I love this song!
Nile Rodgers’s contribution to this album has been unnoticed for sure. Cindy and Kate harmonizing is superb.
Some hills I’ll never see too
Can you add subtitles for lyrics pleaseeee
Tears for you brother god what a tragedy
This song makes me feel like an alien on my own homeworld
love this song.
I love your music, it's so special. Thank you for bringing beautiful colors and good vibes into my life!
Thank you for making this, Mr. Strickland. I feel Topaz is one of the most beautiful songs the B-52s ever put together. =)
Here I was thinking The B-52s didn’t have a “Velouria” (Pixies). Then I heard this. It’s beautiful. Though I can’t shake the feeling that the lyric should’ve been “Some hills I’ll never see”...
Either way, one of the best lyrics I can think of when paired with the following line
Hi, Keith, this is my Tribute to your special friend ❤ I hope you enjoy this :) ruclips.net/video/RFj7MZ1H-aA/видео.html
Thank you for this, Keith-this cut never got the air play it should have on our local stations. A masterpiece of harmony, and one of my favorites of yours to sing. Well done, sir!
a really nice tune and very beautiful...our eartworlde iii
Uma das melhores musicas do B52's! E esse filme também curti bastante. Uma viagem no desconhecido, sem igual... 🙏🏻💕
I love it.
I'm mexican, and I have some audio cassettes tapes, all the CD's albums and 1 Record. I think I own all the CD's/ Album's, except the Singles with 2-4 different versions.
Unbelievable song, when I have issues I watch Topaz, the melody is gut wrenching 😢love it!!
Q: How can you improve perfection? Keith: Hold my beer.

Basic training 1989 🙂 Wonderful harmonies
This Track is special
Lol.
@@spacelf Perfekt 👍
I have listened to this song over the years and it reminds me of the Australian Pacific east coast which I am dreadfully missing at the moment living in the UK
LOVE IT! you did the song and B52s justice!
This is a very beautiful but sad song ,Ricky Willson, was I think a pure genius, who would of gone on in the years to come to create amazing music and guitar riffs like the one at the start of 'Rock Lobster' may his talent never be forgotten....
So beautiful
Have listened to the B-52s since 1989 they have always been a brilliant unique band.Fave songs are Revolution earth,Channel z,Topaz,Deadbeat club,Rock Lobster, cosmic thing...and about a hundred more.
Absolutely stunning and so uplifting. I have loved this song since I first heard it, aged 16, when it was released.
and still ... one of the best songs I've ever heard
WOW. This is such a perfect visual accompaniment to my favorite B52s song.
much love
One sunny day in 1989, close to my 18th birthday in faraway Barcelona, I was reading a music magazine when found an article about B-52's and their new album Cosmic Thing. I had no idea who tf they were, but looking amazed at the cover of the album and the pictures of its components, with that wonderful aesthetics, wigs and colours, I cleverly realised that my gay life was missing something. I ran to buy the album and was ecstatic for weeks listening to something brand new to me. Before the following year, I had already bought all of the B-52's previous albums (it was then, by the way, that I discovered the sad background story of Ricky Wilson, R.I.P.). A composer, or singer, artist, creator, etc... is sometimes unaware of the influence his work can have on the lives of others. Keith, your band changed my life! And more importantly for me, too: after all these years, I sometimes read about Kate, Fred and Cindy's lives and I see that their young spirit has changed very little. They are still honest with themselves, just as I try to be honest with myself. We have managed to build our own love shack :)
one of my very favorite b52 tracks. absolutely transcendent.
A gem. 💎 Long live the godfather of modern musical minimalism.
To me this song makes me think of Cindy's and the bands heartbreaking loss of Ricky Wilson.
The world needs the B-52s now more than ever.
What a groovy song and video!
. No me canso, ni me cansaré de escucharla una y otra vez .. 😍🎶
I thought he was awesome.
