as I went through the whole series, I highly appreciate the incredible effort you guys put in this course! it is just great content and well organised! I highly recommend it to students as well as relative professions like operation managers. once again, many thanks.
Good presentation
Thank you
Well done..thanks
This is one of the best videos!
THANKS
Thanks for the video, really helps
how do you get that that middle figure for Tq = 1.995? can you explain it slower. or show examples thanks. Youre brilliant and thanks~
that was a good demonstration , but can you explain the calculation for T q a little further. the calculation in the middle.?
Hi, can you show how do you plot UCL and LCL on a histogram with bell curve. What type of calculation do you do to get them appear on the graph?
How did you calculate the USL and LSL?
The major difference between Pp, Cp, Cpk and Ppk is the way we calculate standard deviation that is sigma where Cpk uses rbar/d2, a constant. And the the one you are calculating is Ppk not Cpk.
Very useful video, thanks!
Thanks!!
I missed some lessons on this topic and this video explained everything I needed to know in just a short video; good work
🍪🍪🍪🍪🍪🍪
I thought you are calculating the capacity of freeway segment 😭😭😭😭
What software did you use to make the slides? Specifically the graph
Thanks 👍❤
Thank you !
I have a question. I use G/G/1 formula to optimize efficiency and transition times between machines in manufactuirng processes/machines (simplified [u/1-u]). If I have two investment options, a) 1 machine with a capacity every 3 minutes or b) 2 machines with a capacity every 6 minutes each., the formula shows that with 2 machines, the average queueing time will be shorter (form 9 min is 7.9 min). (1 machine) m=1, p=3, a=4 (kingman`s arrival and process AV =1) (2 machines) m=2, p=6, a=4 (kingman`s arrival and process AV =1) Have I entered the data correctly? Both systems has utiliation 0,75. Where does the difference come from i utilization Factor? Does this result from the fact that the average service time for 2 machines is twice longer and therefore the average idle time is shorter? So far, I have used the simplified formula [u/1-u], but if I have 2 or 3 identical machines in one set of machines, I understand that instead of summing up their capcity and treating them as one "big" machine, I should use the same method as above? What is interesting, that the queuing time may be shorter for 2 smaller machines, but from the customer's point of view, the flow time through the entire system is longer, because the average service time is twice as long as 1 machine (12 min -> 13.9 min).
Amazing :) - I will try to find the paper
GREAT JOB! Thanks to you I was able to complete several questions on an MBA course assignment.
Interesting!
Thanksss..

are you from japan....
Beautiful example, very clearly explained in Italian accent (I’m from Mexico 😊).
I watched the whole SCM Topic 3 serie and all I can say is it was really educational and extremly well done. Thank you so much !
At 2:50 shouldn't the arrow of the pull process be reversed?
Thank you
Thanks, but why you didn't use R/D2 formula to calculate the Cpk, from your video, you use std so, it is PPK, not Cpk
Exactly!
How then with same process, could be calculated? Appreciated your support
Thank you my friend. I am using Cachon & Terwiesch, but a different title. They did not really explain the steps to get to leftover inventory in my text. Your Excel formula that uses actual Q, Mean, and StdDev is much more direct. I teach remotely, and I know that everyone has access to Excel. So, we do not need to be teaching z-values. That is so 1992. I really appreciate your help with this. Keep teaching the most direct methods to help our students solve problems in the future.
What if the USL-mu and mu-LSL answers are the same?
I believe in that case you can select either of them to calculate CPK. And I think it will also mean the process is perfectly in the middle of the spec limits. Here you'd probably have CPK = 2 (6 sigma level)
THANK YOU!
Thank you so much for your video... I have done my homework assignment...!!!!
Thank you 🙏🏼🤍
thank you for the explanation
These videos are amazing! Thank you very much for your explanation.
my teacher uses ur videos to explain everything lol, thanks :)
How you calculate the units 3.42
ruclips.net/video/lMXI0xdiaOg/видео.html
Now take your data and plug it into minitab and you will notice this is PPK not CPK.
Well explained
very helpful thank you!
Thank you for the video!
Thank you very much..
Thankyou so much! Your channel is the only resource that helped me with my OM course!
very simply put, thank you.
Your videos are awesome. Just work on the audio
