Thank you for this. My family was lucky to have a computer back in the late '80s, I remember playing this game on it.
This certainly is the place to run up the score.
I used to love playing this game. The furthest I ever got to was the first sideways level. I played this game when I was 6 to 9 years old.
i don't suppose you could show how the polyobject mover function works in an editor? i was trying use a bunch of them but the polyobject failed to even appear. i can get swinging doors to work fine but not movers like you are doing here.

are you using an extra sector inside the portal ? I saw a map in RAMP 2023 that used this trick to avoid infinite tall portals
I used a sector outside the portal in the second version the map in order to limit the height of the ceiling and stop the linedef from extending upwards.

GZDoom should be considered some Doom derivative but not Doom. Like it's great for some advanced mods but using it for OG vanilla Doom and Doom mods that can be launched through PrBoom... Ew...
