Cleaning your car the best way possible!!
what tint do you have?
@T_Schnydz 15% on the front roll downs, 5% on the rear, and 35% on the windshield
@@ZachGriffith8 i was gonna do 15 on my driver and passenger, 5 over the factory rear tint and 50 percent on the shield with a 5 percent brow, is yours too dark at night or no?
What would be your review of riding with not pulling a load. Is it rougher with the bags even at only 5 psi? i drive more without towing then i do with towing so was curious
@@michaelbroussard7404 honestly it's not a noticeable difference from stock. Maybe a hair harsher feeling on big hits/impacts but I contribute a lot of that to the truck itself honestly. For me not towing often the pros still far outweigh the cons and I don't regret getting the airbags.
Thank you for your reply! After watching this video i saw your other of the review of not towing as much. Made me feel better about going with it. I’m pulling the trigger tomorrow on a complete setup.
@@michaelbroussard7404 enjoy! Like I said I haven't ever been upset with getting them. Even when I daily drive the truck without towing anything.
Does 15 psi unloaded raise the rear over stock?
Yes, it'll raise it slightly. If that's a concern though you could just run 5psi which would make very little difference in height.
Before i go cutting into my wire harness,,, hiw did you splice your wires?
I soldered them together and used heat wrap, but you can connect them anyway you feel is best.
@@ZachGriffith8dude. Thanks for responding, dont know much about subarus but im in my driveway sending some wires up right now on my 2012. Thank you!!!!
My waxed care beads up lol
Thanks for the update. Obviously the air bags are designed to assist with load weight, not really needed or noticed with an empty pay load .
What is your payload it has to be through the roof if you have 6,600 lbs just on the rear axle. Thats why its sagging your probably terribly over loaded
When towing a heavy trailer {Do not have the Weight at the back of the Trailer or you 'll have trailer sway issues} If doing a lot of towing You'll have to inspect the diff Fluid and transfer case fluid more often. As I found out the drive shaft seal will need more inspections as this is the seal that will wear out more frequently. Hope you have the tow package on your truck {2 tranny coolers - is a must both primary and secondary tied in. Including tow haul function use this when braking and starting off ...
THANK YOU
Yea that paint correction costed thousands I’m good
Polish itself is actually pretty inexpensive, and I personally paint correct vehicles for less than $500.
this is awesome info! thank you man!

How do I get a ceramic coating on my 1st gen crv?
So you can either buy ceramic coating online..this is the one I would recommend and use amzn.to/4bhnQA9 or you can look up detail companies near you that apply ceramic coatings.
So what's the big deal if my car takes a short while to dry off?
So during that time it's drying, the water itself is leaving water spots on the car as it imprints on the clear coat. The other benefits of ceramic coating is that it protects and preserves the clear coat. I was just highlighting the ease of cleaning in this video.
Why would the water leave spots? Doesn't happen when I wash my car, maybe because I use clean water... Total BS. Other benefits? OK, now trying to justify why anyone should spend money on a ceramic coating - but you didn't put that in the video, so I guess you''re just fishing.@@ZachGriffith8
"the water itself ... imprints on the clear coat". Total BS. @@ZachGriffith8
Did you ever make a video on unloaded ride quality?
I haven't, but I'll have to today.
@@ZachGriffith8 great I look forward to it!!
Wasn't able to today. But I plan on it tomorrow.
Here is a link for the video. Sorry about the quality. ruclips.net/video/Pbmp770VjZ8/видео.htmlsi=B4PTriJvlwP-gSGy
@@ZachGriffith8 Great video! I can't comment, but it answered all my questions. Thank you.
Great info, I just installed the same Airlift kit on my 2017. Are you still liking them?
I am 👍🏻 have a put 50k miles on them with no leaks or problems.
That’s awesome to hear thank you for your feedback.
Zachery, thanks for video; so you were adding 5lb increases at gas stops, under trailer weight? Meaning you kept trailer connected while increasing air , correct?
Yes that's correct, I found that with towing my specific trailer the ride quality increased tremendously at a much higher psi than I thought was needed.
What truck did you install it on ?
2015 F350 SRW CCSB
Did these air bags raise the back of the truck at all with 5 lbs of air and totally unloaded? I don’t want my truck to sit high in the rear. It sits level now. Thanks
Great question! I plan on doing another video reviewing them after a year of owning, and some trouble shooting on installation etc. To answer your question though, yes. It does raise it even with 5psi but I would say it's only .25" if that with 5psi (not noticeable at all that). Obviously at higher psi it does raise it a good amount but I haven't officially measured how high it would go at max PSI.
@@ZachGriffith8 sounds good. Yeah I like that idea of a 1 year review. How does it ride unloaded with that 5lbs in it?
I talk a little more about this in my new video. ruclips.net/video/Pbmp770VjZ8/видео.htmlsi=B4PTriJvlwP-gSGy
Thanks for your thoughts.
Do you know if I can still use the air lift 5000 to truck even if I lift it 3 inches ?
Yes, as long as the rear blocks have the bump stop resting points on them like the oem ones do. Most aftermarket blocks don't but I know there are a few that do.
you said you stopped for gas.... my question is it appears you're driving a diesel... how did you get that to work? I've had really poor experience with gas in a diesel engine... please share your trick for this as gas is significantly cheaper then diesel in Joe Biden's America and I would like the savings if I can do it
In most diesel manuals it says you can fill up your diesel trucks with gas every other fill up👍 really helps the wallet nowadays.
He also said he had 6,600lbs on rear axle his entire payload capacity is maybe half that on a swr one ton truck so he either doesn't really know what's going on or he's a danger to everyone around him. Sorry I edit my reply I watched rest of video he says a lot of stupid shit so he's just an idiot so good chance he may fill his tank with water or def or who knows what
I'm putting the 7500 lbs Firestone on my rig.. looking forward to this
Very helpful, just purchased these for my 2018 f250. I tow a 36ft gooseneck 2 car hauler. If you have 6600lb on the axle of the truck and these airbags are rated at 5000lb do you think that's too much weight for these? Or am I not understanding something correctly.
They should work really well for that setup 👍🏻. To answer your question no that wouldn't be too much if you're referring to your rear axel weight on a scale being 6600lbs. Mainly because that weight would include the axel, wheels, tires etc. and that is weight that isn't weight being held by the airbags so it would still be under the 5000lbs mark.
The air bags don't up your payload capacity they just assist with suspension when loaded and take out some of the shock on bumpy roads
i need to check this trail out
thanks for this
You still riding the Alchemy? If so, any issues? Another owner mentioned the small pivot point.
Still riding it an love it! Not sure about the new one that just came out, but I haven't had issues with this one except for the sleeve for the bolt on the shock being a little too long. Had a shop shave the bolt a 1mm or 2 and it's good to go!
Thanks for the reply. I’ll go look at one tomorrow then.
Pretty happy with your Arktos? I have a Yeti SB5.5 right now but can get an Arktos X01 build for $4k with 5 rides on it. I can't find many reviews on this bike!
I think my headsets are broken because I can’t hear 💩
Yeah, the audio was really bad for some reason...I think the mic I was using wasnt plugged all the way in or something.
If you can post standover numbers, that would be great. Thank you.
Will do! I should be able to get them today or tomorrow.
Sorry it took for ever to get the heights. Tallest point is 36-37" and lowest is 29". Those measurements are from the ground to the top tube.
Hi, Zach. Nice bike! The only thing that concerns me is the standover, which is listed at 794 mm for a medium. Of course, that number could be misleading as it could be measured from the middle of the top tube. Has standover been a problem for you?
I can measure mine and give you a confirmation on what it is exactly. I'll measure at lowest point, middle and highest point. However, I am 5'11" and haven't had any issues this far.
@@ZachGriffith8 I am 5'8" with a torso of a kodiac bear and 30" inseam. Beautiful bike!
@@yoondaman316 thanks! Yeah honestly I might recommend the Medium. I honestly could have gone with a medium myself. If you want I can still get the measurements on mine though which is a size large.
Also what is weight?
Weight is 30.8lbs with those tires, clipless pedals and a water bottle cage. I now have exo+ tires so I'm sure it weighs a little more. I also ran skin wall xc tires and it was sub 30lbs
So how have you been liking the bike?
Absolutely love the bike! Climbs a lot better than I anticipated and is pretty competent on the downs 👌🏻
Is it just me or is the audio all messed up?
It is. They probably have a gopro on bluetooth. It's a bluetooth interface.
We were using a DSLR with a rode mic, but I think the mic wasn't plugged all the way in. Sorry...
Killing it! 👍🏻
Exhaust looks good, but wheres the sound clip! Nice job, I liked your box+sponge combo support. Reminds me of something id rig up to get the job done haha
Subie Shakedown I didn't add the sound clip on this one, but it is at the end of my exhaust instal video.
