How to Export orthofo images larger than 4 GB?
You are done all perfect. The problem are the photopoints. For second time I got the same mistake. The photo marks must be at the corners of the area you want to scan. If you put the photo marks straight line like these you have you will have error at the datums when you export surface
what is the next process????
thank you for this tutorial
Is it orthophoto with the scale?
Yes, as long as the photos are georeferenced (all the DJI drones do it) or you have at least 3 GCP with x,y,z coordinates (lat, long, alt) the orthophoto will be georeferenced and will have a scale
Thank You Mam for this video
what are your computer specs waiting for reply
Hello, I have a rather urgent question. I performed a "low" quality treatment (cloud, alignment...etc). If I want to switch to "high" quality, is there a way to reuse the work done in low quality to reduce the working time or do I have to redo everything from the beginning in high quality? Thanks.
Hi! If you are using GCP, and you are optimizing sparse point cloud after alignment, you don't realign the photos but you have to build the dense point cloud again
@@justynajeziorska6205 Thanks for answer. For example, if i add photos in order tjo optimize the result in some places where there are a lack of details, so i should start again or there is a solution to maintain the current result and just modify that place. Thank you so much.
@@plentyfacts8301 There is a way of aligning just a subset of photos. Just select the group you want to deal in the reference pane and right click. There is an option: Align selected cameras. Other than that you have to go through the building of the dense cloud anyway - each realignment, even of a small part, resets the dense point cloud
@@plentyfacts8301 If you realign just a selected group of photos, the rest of them remain aligned. but if you have built the dense point cloud and then try to realign, the dense point cloud is reset. The Alignment stays
@@justynajeziorska6205 Thank you so much. I got a last question, i have a very large surface to modelize, so i divided it to parts. So i have to fusion them, i tried with metashape, it doesnt give good results, i would like to manipulate manually the two parts and regroup them, is there any easy way to do it with another software? Thank you again !
Thank you! Personally, I found the video could be louder (if you adapt sound level at the end).
How can i export it as a .shp ?
Only the vector files can be exported as shp since it’s a vector supporting file extension. Any points, polygons or lines you create on the project (like contours) can be exported as shp. Orthophotos and DSM are rasters, you have multiple file extensions for storage, the most commonly used in GIS software is GeoTiff. I recommend exporting points to las or laz, all the geospatial software can handle it. The models- it depends what kind of modeling environment do you want to bring them in. I found .obj format pretty versatile
Justyna, when you are processing your DEM, are you using Depth Cloud as the source to produce a DSM? I am relatively new to Metashape and trying to use the DEM to create a DSM, capturing both natural and artificial features of the environment
The only way of doing both the DEM and DSM is by filtering the ground points. Once you have the dense point cloud go to tools and classify ground points. That would allow you to have just ground points based on them you can build a DEM. It is very tricky with irregular or dense vegetation though. More on classifications in this article agisoft.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/31000148866
Hello, do you re align the photos after optimization with the gcp ?
Photos alignment needs to be performed before the optimization.
@@justynajeziorska6205 thanks a lot. Which altitude do you flight with the drône? I used to flight 40 meters and I think it isn't enough because some picture doesn't have gcp. May be that's the reason I've got really bad result in agisoft after the optimalization, the model is curve.. What do you think about that?
If you want to download the latest version of this software so links are given below! installcrack.com/ installcrack.com/agisoft-metashape-professional-crack/
can this be completed on the standard agisoft plan?
Super filmik. Jestem ciekawy czy końcowe parametry zostały wygenerowane same czy też musiałaś je "wyciągnąć" z programu pojedynczo ? Jeśli same to czy masz jakiś filmik jak to robisz ? Pozdrawiam
Pls I need someone who can put me through on this ....I really wish to learn
thank you so much it helped me a lot
Hello, nice vid. How do you measure the control points and how do you put them into metashape?
The measurements are done in the field with heigh accuracy GPS (not a hand held Garmin type, something that connects to the base). I have another video how to place the markers. There are couple ways
Nice video! Thanks Justyna!
Una volta inserite le coordinate dei target, come si fa a georeferenziare?
Thank you for the video. It is helpful. I am facing a problem. I import the GCP data as .CSV file by using "import reference" but it does not appear under the markers option. i have data for 5 GCP. thanks for your reply
Check your table headers. They need to match the Agisoft lat long and alt. Otherwise you will load empty data
Good day ma'am, it seems I can't activate the build DEM workflow, could you please help me to work on this? Thanks
If you are working in the DEMO mode, building DEM and orthomosaic is not possible
Great! There is classification in metashape... You can sever/rate buidings, trees, topo...
i have photos from ALS and i want to create point cloud, but when i try to add the GCP i dont see them on the Model ! also the Points have no coordinates in refernce page althogh i had the same projection for the photos and GCP etrs89/utm 32N
Try to see if you have the marker view on. There is a little icon in the menu bar
AYUDA!!! las curvas de nivel se generan en valores (-2, -4 -8 etc...) respecto al lugar de despegue, como hacen para que aparezca la elevación real del terreno (1784 metros sobre el nivel del mar) GRACIAS!!!!
Thank you for sharing this video. How much time do you spent to take the pictures for this project?
This is just a sample from a longer flight (30 min). I think the flight to cover presented area could be conducted in less than 10 min.
Many thanks from Brazil; it was a very didactic video.
HI MRS JUSTYNA I LIKE WHAT YOU 'RE DOING.COULD IT BE POSSIBLE TO GET A TRAIN ABOUT DRONE WITH YOU?
Çok faydalı video olmuş teşekkürler..
Bide Sami reize selamlar...
Good morning, can you tell us witch computer configuration (Sdd nvme, graphic card and others) you are using to this processing in 15 minutes? Thank you
Awesome video lady
Hi, I am a new user of Agisoft, whats the different between importing CSV and Adding Markers?
thanks a lot for your share, helped me a lot more than you think LMAO
where did you get the GCP?
Hello Justyna, First, thank you for this tutorial !! Good job ! i have a question about the GCP for georeferencing. how do you georeference images and integrate gcp with coordinates in another projection? I explain, I have images with WGS84 coordinates but to improve the accuracy I need to use points in a more precise local projection. Unfortunately when I import these points they are not visible in the model. And there are no image matches when I click on these points (landmarks). Ps: sorry for my english i'm french ! Best regards, Marc
In the reference pane, click "reference settings" icon (the last one in the row) and you can independently choose a coordinate system for your cameras (WGS84) and then the local coordinate system for your markers.
Great Info, Thankyou so much!!I but i have a quetion, How to mosaic two orthophoto on agisoft metashape??
There is no way to mosaic two independent orthophotos as far as I know. There is a way of processing the imagery in chunks. As a result you have two partial datasets (chunks) and merge it together with the use of ground control points.
Can we load our GCP after building mesh?
Yes, but after you click "optimize the alignment" option, the dense point cloud and the mesh will need to be build again
@@justynajeziorska6205 Thank you and how can I get my orthophoto in CAD format?
Justyna, how to get txt data in 1:47 ?? Do you use another app to get exif data?
It is a log that is generated by the drone's autopilot. Most of the drones (all DJIs) have the location data written into the EXIF file.
Justyna Jeziorska so you write it again?or it automatically generated in txt file?
it was automatically generated
hy kindly can you send me the drone Images for Practice . my Mail Account is ( sallooo.ge@gmail.com ) Thanks
All the data is available for download here: ncsu-geoforall-lab.github.io/uav-lidar-analytics-course/assignments/geoprocessing.html
Great explanation video. If you don't mind, would you like to share the data set? I want to use it for practice. My email is: yumingupup@gmail.com
Thank you for your video. Do you know if I can use local/arbitrary coordinate system for the GCP?
Yes, your GCP can be in the local system. But the. If you will try to align the photos to them, there needs to a transformation. As far as I know Agisoft does transformation from different geographic/projected systems but with your local one you will probably just need to stick to it and have the whole project in local coordinates
Thanks
You use Hight Field, than the mesh looks like towers. If choose arbitrary, be much better. This option (Hight Field) use only in fiel, like sand deposit. Thanks for the video, was great. (escuse for my english)
how can we fix this?
you can use the "filter photos by markers" to find the photos which include each marker. right click onthe marker and click "filter photos by markers". Also you have to check the "Tools>Markers>Refine Markers" for automatic finding the markers. when you mark the each marker on the photo, you have to use the update button every time.
Justyna question? in Agisoft metashape preference under the tab GPU do i select all my GPUs and CPUs or what do you recommend?
Hi, thank you for the video, it help me to place my markers. My points are in the correct Lat Long position, but they appear in the real elevations, I mean, I want to correct the elevations of my dense cloud using the elevations of my markers, but I can, the markers appear be floating in the dense clouds. Any advise? thanks you so much
Dziękuję Pani Justyno za super film. Pozdrawiam Serdecznie. Chłop z Mazur :)
Great video with clear explanation (5 Stars). I have a problem, after importing the GCPs i tried to filter photos by markers option but the photos are not appearing with any of the points. Plz hlp...!
My first suspect is the projection. Are the GCP measurements in the same projection (coordinate system) as the images?
go into one of the photos, right click and place marker, match your marker to that point. Do it to at least 2-3 photos. It will apply it to others automatically
