The cab driver. Was in the movie Billy Madison?
Planes Trains And Automobiles was released in 1987
In one of the later books, Hermione was flat out asked why she wasn’t in Ravenclaw. She mentioned that the Sorting Hat did debate putting her there, but decided she was better suited for Gryffindor.
Laura is beautiful
You should have watched the Final Cut. The voiceover and happy ending were tacked on by the studio against Ridley Scotts wishes. The Directors Cut and Final Cut are virtually identical, - the Final Cut just has some continuity errors fixed, special effects fixes (it's subtle though), they reshot the death scene with Zhora as in the original and Directors Cut its an obvious stunt double and corrected the background in the scene where the dove flies up so it fits in with the rest of the scene.
The scene where Quint talks about his experience on the USS Indianapolis. The scene was written by director and writer John Milius. Originally the scene was much longer but Robert Shaw cut it down to the lines in the film.
The minute you all just stopped watching and talked over the beginning attack, I knew this video wasn't for me
You should watch deep blue sea
CGI is used by lazy people who sit at a keyboard. No cinematic chops ar all.
You should watch the director's cut (also wait some 5 years)... You'll see how different it'll hit
Yes. Danny's mind is using Tony as a coping mechanism.... 23:53
The story about the Indianapolis is true, a WWII tragedy. I don't think many people went back into the water for a while after seeing this movie, it was a new level for cinema. He has two phones because he's a sheriff. They actually base this story on true events that happened in New Jersey where 4 people were attacked and killed by sharks. The Sheriff pretty much answers to the Mayor, who has jurisdiction over local authorities.
Stop stopping every 2 seconds 😢
The two kids with the shark fin hats.. They got caught and one of the kids says….He made me do it. Lol. I saw this in 75 when I was 8. The guy in the row boat who fell in and his severed leg going to the bottom freaked me out.
In Jaws 2 that clown was still the Mayor. Vote wisely America...
Like the Omen it is not just one of the best horror movies of all time, it is one of the best films of all time period.
Mechanical shark > CGI. This movie is a timeless classic.
That bar at the beginning was in NE Minneapolis on central Ave.
Why do so many reaction content creators have issues with sound levels where I have to turn the volume up so high to hear the movie that the reaction comments are insanely loud?
Coast Guard jurisdiction is all coastal and territorial waters of the United States, plus any call of distress especially from any U.S flagged (licensed) vessel. They also serve in any U.S. Naval anchorages overseas. This is NOT how the book ended. Hooper didn't live. On the way back to shore, Brody eats him!!!!
This was a great reaction, it’s one of my favorite movies to watch people react to. When I first saw it in high school, the whole class was riveted. 👏
Plaid shirt girl is cute.
The USS INDIANAPOLIS story was a true event
@ 15:51 I guess he was..... legless.....
The USS INDIANAPOLIS is the best scene that Steven Spielberg ever made
i arrived late and would like to watch all the videos but i'm afraid the sisters (especially the one in green) will continue to give spoilers until the last movie. 😑
The film I think, but not sure, came out in 1975. I was born in 1983, so I first watched it with my family on TV. I remember it making me not want to swim ever in the sea/ocean. Effects have come along way since then. But we wouldn't have what we have now, without legendary films like jaws; love it.
Kid, you owe it to yourself to research and watch videos on Marine Corps history and boot camp.
The guy is so slow lol
What everybody doesn't know is when quint is talking about the Indianapolis is robert shaw was actually on the Indianapolis when it was sunk. So he was there and experienced it himself. So the story is actually very true.
I don't know where you heard that, but it's not true. First, a Scottish national wouldn't be serving on a US ship. Second, he never did any kind of military service.
Two phones because one line is the Sheriff's Department phone and the other is their private line.
Idyllwild Airport is the former name of JFK Airport. It was renamed after the assassination of President John F Kennedy.
Inherit the Wind (1960) next!
Great reaction! It is very interesting to see your detailed reaction to the film Robocop 1987. This is a cool movie 🦾🤖🔥
Just in case no one passed it on. This movie was based on bull shark attack. FYI they have there young in fresh water and is the only shark that can live in fresh water. Also it’s responsible for more attacks that any other species of shark. And yes they go way up rivers into lakes
15:45 I just noticed that the guy in the red row boat that gets overturned and he falls into the water, then is eaten by the shark, he is bare foot in the boat. And then when you see the severed leg sinking down, it has a tennis shoe on it. All the times, I never noticed that.
See Slavoj Zizek's commentary on the fight scene in They Live, to understand the weird romance scene in Deckard's apartment with Rachel.
Don't have to pay him anymore LOL never heard that one before
Some people had a second landline. Possibly a business phone.
I love the score to Buckbeak's flight. Every time I watch this movie that sequence stands out.
The shark in this flick is an early animatronic. THAT was a method that was in its infancy at the time and had a lot of developing to do. Anyway, I'd take it over another crappy computer simulation like you see in every other movie made nowadays.
30:25 "It's just a normal day for her." This is the definition of Margie.
Maybe it’s because it’s not the full movie, it feels like the one on the far right is commenting or giving hints every few seconds. Would be nice for the focus to be more on the ones that haven’t seen it and letting them figure things out.
Great catch on the groceries up stairs.
Glad you guys finally got to see this, but please be careful what you say, "probably embellished" !!! Not a single syllable of the story Robert Shaw told about the USS INDIANAPOLIS is even embellished, it's a horrific unimaginable story!!! They actually recently found the wreckage of it in one of the deepest parts of the Pacific you should watch that documentary, it's really amazing!!! Thanks guys cheers!!!
I might be a better idea to watch Jaws at night with the lights out!
Here's a little documentary about the film. It's about the Elstree studio locations where "The Shining" was filmed. Very interesting! One little fact was that Scatman Crothers had problems remembering his lines and that little Danny Lloyd would mouth them to him. So, little Danny knew more than just what he was supposed to say. That's amazing to me, but then little kids can be like sponges. ruclips.net/video/ipBpO2C5LTU/видео.htmlsi=LcPSaF2Nryx5jOPm
Author Peter Benchly wanted to have Quint tell the story of the USS Indianapolis in the original novel, but at the time it was written, but the US Navy had not declassified it yet, but buy the time the book had been published and the movie was in production, it was declassified, so it was put in the movie. It is a true story. Unfortunately, The author's maid had a son that died on the Indianapolis, and she was not told how he died. She only found out about it after seeing the movie, and told Benchly that she was taking time off due to finding out the truth.
LOL I had to jump to 18:35 I love people's reactions to the shark jump
Someone has reconstructed using AI the deleted scene from "The Shining" that happened right before the final zoom to the 1921 Ballroom photo. It's quite interesting. ruclips.net/video/d3pLb1nhMt8/видео.htmlsi=ff0-KNMZUaYTkaVt
