Black Rebel Motorcycle Club Interview from Spinner
Просмотров 21 тыс.15 лет назад
Peter Hayes of Black Rebel Motorcycle Club talking about wasting love on a nation, the Jesus and Mary Chain reunion and the fact that dirty gritty rock'n'roll is needed...
Also recorded by Wilco as a B-Side. The original was on the Moby Grape album called '69 (their third).
So is Peter now playing for free since he is against capitalism.
A gentleman, a great musician. Nice man... And nice words on The Jesus and Mary Chain.
He looks like Jack White here.
Makes a change from their spacemen 3/spiritualised rip offs I guess. Too literal, adds nothing.
The interviewer definitely made it awkward
Fucking excellent!
I actually think this interviewer was kinda nice. he asked new questions and wasn't awkward 😂👌

Бля, это Шедевр!!!
...hahaha love they attitude of pete...really true person!!! Perfect!
pretty well done, I have to say.
Pete just got me into the Silver Apples c:
this interviewer is a moron
Dirty, gritty rock'n'roll is needed
he also looks a ittle benecio del toro in sin city as jackie boy rafferty
is it just me or does peter hayes look like jack white??
I think I'm in love.
I WANT THAT GUITAR ON THE RIGHT!
A good question would be: "Which of my questions was the stupidest, not including this one?"
do you mean "Got No Right"? because i have that song & a lot that aren't on RUclips i can put up.
i still like his answer to it though... haaar
It's only because I am familiar with the original Moby Grape version that I listened to this. May be I shall have to look up more stuff by BRMC...
where does thing song come from ??
Moby Grape cover. (1969)
jesus christ, this is so amazing
@Cody111079 I've been listening to BRMC since 2003, I know it's from weapon of choice but it's a fucking stupid question. What the fuck could peter say to that? It wasn't worth answering. He just didn't know anything about the band and had heard the latest single. It was a waste of air.
@CSchwarten That's a line from one of their songs, that's why he asked it.
Was this a Christmas download? I can't find the single it was on.
@sidvisuals Yes,I really like it!
@IsThereAnna , the photo is an excellent pick though :)
@dangerdave70270 There are, clearly, better BRMC fans than me :-)I just found out,on their forum, that this a cover. The original track is by Moby Grape. It's a good cover though!
Love it!
as good as always!
wow that didn´t take long to arrive here.
Yeah, how do you do? :)
Wow! why listen to Pete Hayes full stop...1) wear the clothes 2) get the instruments 3) talk the usual shit in interviews that have been spoken since the sixties, act nonchalant and bore the shit out of people with the rest of this interview first album/2 songs off of second album plus howl
so cool
id love to meet him, he seems like a great guy
@IsThereAnna that makes sense hah thanks
Yeah, my friend met him backstage too. He's really cool. at the house of blues in dallas, texas. They just passed by here.
Actually apologies to this guy hes probably the best B.r.m.c interviewer ive seen but i wish more people truly understood their music xx
Favourite band of all time. Why do Brmc's interviewers have to be so annoying :( "Define the best sound you have ever heard: B.r.m.c"
A bit before Baby 81 came out,April 2007
when was this interview? does anyone know?
love it!
That would have to be the dumbest question I have ever heard in my life. "What advice do you have for anyone wasting their love on a nation?"
what a beautiful guy
No problem!Glad you liked it!
