The last scene where you see the beach restaurant with all water around is actually called "de toko", and this establishment has probably the BEST webcamera of all coastal establishments. Just google for "De Toko Webcam" and you will find a 1080p camera that constantly rotates slowly from left to right. You will even see the same sign that says "Toiletten" at 12:14.

Thank you for the informative video! It's great to see such a massive project explained in such a clear and easy to follow way. One thing I have to mention however is that with the current sea level rise of less than 10 mm per year (Per iccp projections, NOT measured) the Netherlands will be save for the coming 130 years due to the extreme overbuilding and "future proofing" the engineers did in the past. No one in the Netherlands is concerned about flooding, and they should know, right??

The Netherlands was lucky to have the income from coal mining in Limburg back in the 50's and 60's to fund Polderization and then the many Billions of guilders revenue from the Slochteren Gas Field to realize the Delta Project. One fact that few outside the Netherlands are aware of is that massive Pumps of the Zuider Zee type need to be kept running 24/24 to stop water seepage and eventual flooding.

Wageningen is one of the most awesome Universities I ever visited. It's awesome, and the town itsself too, I know all corners of that cute little town. And the nature nearby is so beautiful. Also, Wageningen has a former holiday park- now turned into a student housing area. It's literally my favourite place in the Netherlands I ever spent some time (as friends lived there). The cool artsy vibe, with people just like me (in terms of social values, and things I find important in life). Dinner with people from all around the little park, concerts on the main grass field in the middle of the little area, some of the houses doing dj sets and other events and even a local theater group often performing under a big tree in the agricultural/grass fields nearby. Again- lovely place unlike anything else. Also, the Rhine river next to Wageningen- is awesome. When it overflows and comes up to the nearby hill, and upto the Dijken protecting the city, you really feel the might of our water defences. Otherwise, the whole valley from Wageningen up till Rhenen would have flooded. The only things ''protecting'' the valley are the Wageningse Berg (42m) and the Grebbeberg (52m) on either side. Also, the Grebbeberg might not be your type of topic, but it was one of the most important defences (and most stubborn defenders) in the defence of the Netherlands in WW2. Awesome video! :)

The big rivers do NOT flood agricultural lands, that would be very bad, the Rhine is extremely polluted for starters. Grasslands in the Netherlands are grass deserts, no wild flowers have survived the use of Round-Up etc, hence insects are gone, and thus most meadow birds are being wiped out. The Agro-Money-wolf is destroying out nature, Farmers want to kill our Geese, Storks, any birds of pray, extremely rare wolves, etc...any thing to make money... We have way too many farms and farmers, and not enough rules to keep them on the straight and narrow :(
