Sorry I am alison's husband Erwin. I wrote the observations. I am from South Africa and fished from the age of 11. I used a surf ski to fish from. You would use the poppers in deeper water. I free dived for crayfish and also doesrfished from the age of 18. The cup on the front of the lure throws a good amount of water and it resembles a fleeing baitfish. An exhilarating experience. If the gamefish are deep you would use the black popper as the dark body stands out against the sky. If the water is clear, the white body would stand out on the surface.
