Hi. I bought this kit part built and there were three parts missing, two which were easy to scratch build. Does the Recovery Truck require (F6) which I assume is the control unit for the Tipper Truck version hydraulics? It is shown as required in the instructions (page 9, section 10), but I wondered if anyone has any ideas as to what it controls on the Recovery Truck? The jib / lifting gear seem to be manually operated.

Sorry I missed your live stream on Friday Alex; I was attending the Maidenhead Beer Festival, Saturday I was at the Wythall Transport Museum’s Bus Fest which was held at the British Transport Museum at Gaydon in Warwickshire.. weather wasn’t great .. but as there are two main museum buildings could dive in either of those during the downpours!. On Sunday I was down in Bournemouth for the Bournemouth Bus Rally; this is held at King’s Park which is very open .. so was a bit concerned about the conditions as it chucked it all the way (114 miles) down there, but luckily it had stopped just before we got there .. apart from a muddy entrance for the vehicles, the site was firm & dry & sun came out for rest of the day .. even got an open top bus ride down to the pier in Bournemouth (the Rally site is 2.4 miles from there). Was a full on 3 days! Great stream as always Alex & enjoy your cat sitting break ! Hope to catch your next live stream in a fortnight

Doh yes you’re right feel an idiot now! Wondering if it was the AA screws! Thanks for that ill have a look in the week.

I believe the instructions are in error regarding the use of DD type screws for securing Detail A to the underside of the rear boot. The DD type screw is for attaching to plastic and the rear boot is metal. I ended up using a similar size metal type screw left over from one of my other builds.
