Squier Jaguar with series/parallel/phase reversal mod and 500k volume pot.

Turn on subtitles to see pickups descriptons! Squier by Fender Vintage Modified Jaguar with stock pickups. 500k volume pot in lead circuit. Series/parallel/phase reversal mod gives 7 sound. 4 orginal and 3 new. Now strangle switch from orginal wiring is not a high-pass filter, but is a phase reversal switch for bridge pickup. Filmik nagrany na Wielki Konkurs FOG 2017. Chodził mi po głowie już od jakiegoś czasu, aż nadarzyła się sposobność by go stworzyć. Jest to mój pierwszy tego typu filmik. Nagranie go to ciekawe doświadczenie, mam nadzieję że się spodoba.

Hi! I'm making a similar mod to my jag but when the bridge pickup is ON (Only bridge pickup) the phase reversal switch is changing the sound of it. Do you know what might be happening? Thanks!
I like the older SFX-1, I play Shred / Neo Classical and Metal. The newer one has less upper and mid drive.

The amplifier is Tech21 Trademark 60, but it is recorded with the Nokia N8 over 4 years ago. Anyway the mod is very good, I haven't changed it till today.
@@arnoldurbanowicz3621 How much do you think the volume pot contributes to the tone? I’m curious how it would sound without switching out the volume pot.
@@zfarrell I like dark-sounding guitars, and the 500k in my ear warms the sound a bit. Previously, 1M was there and it's not a big difference. 250k I have not tried.

I have the old pedal and it's a great pedal. But for some reason it adds noise and I'm not sure if that's something I want to continuously use. Normally I just use an amp that has great Distortion in it and that's it less is more kind of approach

76/5000 The new version is a bit better than the old one. The sound is a bit more natural, organic.
Hi! got the same exact same squire jag lol (waiting on buzzstop in the mail). I just spent my sunday wiring it according to the diagram. i love the phase quackyness, but it was about half the volume of the other settings, I assume this because i dont have the 500k volume pot?
Maybe, but I'm not sure.
Must have been something else, because as I've understood the volume pot will be the same as long as you max it out. It will only differ when you use it, that meaning turning it down or up. At max it's gonna be the same.

Joe Lazzarotto Hey, I created the circuit you’re using. You don’t need any specific value pots. I simply choose 500k to tame the Jaguars highs. Although the diagram shows 1meg you can use any.
