One of the funniest things about John that people don’t mention often enough is how he interrupts Yoko constantly. He just barrels over everything she tries to say
A lot of commenters are ignoring the fact that this was an interview for the BBC's *Woman's Hour* programme on Radio 4. Yoko's presence, and her contributions, were welcomed. You're really showing your true colours with some of the comments here, fellas.
@@potterwalker4823 So because I do not worship John Lennon as you do I'm a limited thinker. How sad, boomer, how very sad that you do not see the irony in your comment.
His mother. He was needy and she exploited it for fame she never otherwise would have had; to have a wealthy benefactor from whom to sponge her hedonistic, waster’s lifestyle; and bankroll her thoroughly self-indulgent, talentless art projects.

The generation, before John's, didn't always had pregnancy as a risk for sex, so the pill changed that: Thus the change of behavior with society.
John almost has a contemporary Elvis haircut here. Yoko's had a pretty glamorous hair day for unknown reasons; might it have been to look her best for this interview?
I read many comments here from mostly American people. Please politely You don't really understand the British mentality. It's nothing like yours. Yoko Ono had lived so long in USA that she interrupts constantly. A trait of American people. Your chat show hosts are the same. Bloody Hell it's not about you. John was clearly frustrated. Wasn't it his interview? The sad thing is, John loved USA and there's nothing wrong with that. That's why he moved there a short time after this. I also love USA and its people. However I recognise its shortcomings. I sincerely believe, no bloody crank would have shot him, if he'd stayed in the quiet peaceful county of Surrey. Why? We can't buy guns. Essa entrevista é de 1971 e pensar que May Pang ja estava trabalhando e convivendo com o casal desde 1970
Yoko just tries to take over the conversation when she wasn't ask a question. John eventually just talks over her.
oh shut up Yoko
Hard to believe Lennon was only 30 in this video.
Yoko talking nonsense
This isn’t a ‘rare’ interview at all; it’s part of the 1971 Imagine documentary.
Never sold out. Outwardly frosty and sharp; inwardly beautiful and caring. John will never die he lives on in all our hearts.

Ted Heath loved little boys, do you really want to talk about that John you hypocrite.
Loved the way he threw everyone who had taken drugs under the bus. He was the biggest user of all time. Now he’s Saint John. What a hypocritical prat.
What on earth did Lennon see in that joke of a woman Yoko Ono
Japanese woman knows how to be a punching bag. The weaker sex of a defeated empire has a lot to answer for.

Lennon's just smarter than everyone.☮️☮️☮️
Yes he talked in riddles
Why does Yoko have to get involved? In my opinion, she was a controlling narcissist.
Yes but manchild John never grew up
I think he subconsciously wanted a strong woman who would "mommy" (control) him bc he grew up without his mother@@sharonramsey715
YET....John & Yoko LOVE STORY is FOREVER! XO
I never knew what John saw in Yoko.
Listen again, you might get it
John never knew what you saw in yourself.
for ted heath it was about murdering little boys on his yacht and the secret services disposing of the bodies
he’s a pompous jerk
That cigarette in John's hand is a little off-putting but I guess it was a different time 🙄

Ever since his death she as said nothing of worth or had any influence in popular culture at all. Just coming out with fancy word salad.

Yoko was cool.
