Around 300 is when I learned to utilize the “forward” lean. It pulls the bars to your chest and keeps the rear tire down. Really helps w bumps and rollers. Start messing w it. It’ll speed you up big time

use ur right stick to sit i dont think a button is good in my opinion it will prob feel weird for scrubbingh and sit more i think 4:06 sitting would get u a bette rentry in the corner and fast beacasue standing turns slower or harder another example at 4:44 if u woudlve sit u didnt go off track

I think that you should try to lean forward on closed corners instead of leaning back, on the long corners doesnt really matter

ride the 2022 JV tracks and MXGP tracks if you wanna prep for it, these tfc tracks aren't going to help you at all since there is no rough whatsoever

in those corners u should be more on the throttle!

I think that you should play more online races, ur problem is the corners as you said, sometimes you can learn corners on online matches better, mainly because you want to be faster then everyone else on the server, and you will try to cut the other players every corner you can, with that you will learn some "new ways" to get into the corner faster. About the crashing a lot, that's normal because you are training to get faster, with time you wont crash as much even playing for hot laps, after you feel that you can be fast without focusing that much it will be easy to not crash cause you will feel comfortable with what ur doing. Even with that, ur much faster than u were 2 weeks ago

I think that ur time issue on that track is that you do leave the corners with some speed, but you lose to many speed while getting into the corners too, and sometimes you go full pin into a jump and scrub, and other times you just go slower afraid to over jump it. But ur getting faster and better tho

you're riding good but you should start trying to lean more with your right stick, not just for whips. It'll boost your precision and speed. It took me 500hrs to start leaning and 1,400hrs to get the hang of it

Not in my wildest dreams would I consider having that on. Not even when I was completely new to the game. "why is it so slow?" while staying in 5th gear the whole time 😂 Im sorry but thats hilarious. Another useful thing that you will discover now is downshifting before a corner and use engine braking.

Only goons use auto shift and goons aren't pro. Also switch your view to dynamic, your shit is gross

But man pls...those gears. You can't always sit in 5th gear when you should be pretty much all the time in second and third.

I have actually never raced, I just spin a couple of laps on my own every day. But the 250 is just way more fun IMO

another tip, when ur able to, try to switch gears while ur mid air, if you switch gears while on the ground it will make you lose a second or so
