@@SeanSymphony i forgot to write to you, i checked it shortly after. my mistake was that i kept all the buttons pressed and never let go, which is probably why the green circle never filled up, but yeah, the minigame itself isn't actually that hard, it was just my own stupidity

Yeah it’s the notation I think that fucks with people. Helped me by watching a video on it and slowing it down

@@SeanSymphony I have an A on everything but this piece and I wish it was just the notation. I don’t know what is exactly going on, but either it’s not reading the input I hit on the song or some sort of delay between my controller and PS5 only for this song. I’ve even singled it down just to 1 stick left or right, I’ve tried both and just isolated them, and it will not pick up what I did AND ALSO wipe out the next upcoming note that shouldn’t have registered yet. Not always the same spots too. It is like it just decides to eat an input and penalize me for the next upcoming input simultaneously.

I tried listening to the clicks inbetween the buttons. Sadly, it’s just down to practise. Problem is you need 50-52 to secure the win

@@SeanSymphony tried it again a day ago got 51 and he got 51 which was my highest was so disappointed and depressed just came back to it just now on the second try 51 again and i won so happy 😀 tuning the music off and his voice plus putting the triggers to lowest settings definitely helped me now for the rest of the mini games….

You're focusing on two things at once. I can understand the struggle if you are completely unfamiliar with the pieces but otherwise, this is way easier than any proper rhythm videogame.

Omg it so true. Just hearing the first 4 notes already sends a chill down my spine and I can literally feel my face start to shrivel and tears almost come out of my eyes. Its like automatic. I'm just glad that in today's society. With all this bullshit there is some place to escape to. And then Aerith playing her song is just the best yet emotional touch. T-T

You only need A rank to get the piano virtuoso. Even then, you have a big margin of error - you’re allowed to miss a few notes. As long as you hit the minimum score for A, you’ll be great.

@@ElOrquidea it just takes practise. Some of the pieces look like double notes when they’re just off. It’d be better if if the notes where different colours

Played through 7/8 songs and watched a few here as well and also noticed it now 😂

I did this initially, there’s a side quest you need to complete in nibelheim called “the white angel” found on the board outside - complete that and you’ll get the sheet music as a reward

Thank you very much, very kind of you. I totally understand where you’re coming from. I don’t play the piano myself but I think knowing the song and how it goes does more hinderance than good. Keep at it though, you’ll get it eventually! I believe in you!
