Hope can see sling design for camera bag
Love this sling bag.❤❤❤❤
Can it fit a 13 inch MacBook Air?
@@sagaronyoutube nope, that’s way too big
gosh..this sling has all the features that i NEED in a sling..ESPECIALLY the bottom external carry feature..not only can i strap an umbrella to it, but whenever i find myself in a situation where i need to carry my sandals around, i can wrap them in a plastic bag and strap it to the sling..god damn..i think i found my sling..i hope the distance between the 2 compression straps isnt too big so that shorter sandals/items wont fall out.
Glad you like the features we included! The compression straps are 14.5cm (5.6in) apart from center to center if that helps!
@@ReworkGear Im going to have to try it out myself. im buying! Thanks so much for this amazing product!
@@ReworkGear Taukey, next step is color options. Olive is a must. Olive/Black in X-Pac is a sure buy.
Asians and rice 😂. Super cute btw
I was attempting to place an order on your website, but unfortunately, it was blocked by Avast Web Shield, which flagged the site as a potential malware threat. Might want to look into it....
Nice dive on the sling and features. But you might want to check on your website. The anti virus on desktop chrome is blocking my access entirely, prompting error each time with virus alerts.
Love how thoughtfully designed this bag is and thabk you for walking through all the features.
Your design is excellent, probably red dot class. You've addressed space usage, and use case scenarios so effectively with maximal space efficiency.
I just ordered my Toshi sling, really looking forward to trying it out. I love the design, especially the suspended mesh pockets in the main compartment and the top quick access pocket! Great work.
This video sold me! Placed my order and I am excited to use this bag in my travels!
@@lbfilipino87 Thank you for the support!
Where are the other color option?
@@lazyboygamech We are still working out color options for the future. Right now we need to reserve cash for expanding our products, so colors will have to wait.
Can it fit a steam deck
@@joshkovil2448 Yes, a steam deck with a case can fit in the main compartment, but as you can imagine it would be too bulky for the padded sleeve.
Convinced me on the bag immediately. But thumbs up for the bloopers 😆😆
@@LaurenMilla 😂 Thanks for watching all the way through!
You just sold me a bag in 13 minutes. 👏🏼
How often should we re apply the wax?
Great question! Ultimately there is no definitive answer to this as everyone's use case and needs are entirely different. If you want the bag to be as water resistant as possible, then you should reapply a DWR finish when you start to notice the exterior "wetting out". You can test this by placing some water droplets on the fabric and seeing if it beads up or slowly starts to seep into the fabric. This is essentially what we highlight/show in the video. If you are not too particular on the bag being highly water resistant, then you can either reapply a DWR finish as and when you feel like it, or not bother at all. The exterior fabric also has a PU backing to it making it water resistant in that regard, and the yarns of the zipper are DWR treated, so it is more of an impregnated treatment making it still quite water resistant despite the surface level DWR being removed from everyday use. Hope that helps!
What is the teal blue pouch you have in the bag and photos?
Its' an xpac pouch from ctactical.
This sling looks superb! Is there any padding at the bottom to protect the camera right there?
@@till5520 No, it doesn’t have padding on the bottom. Our main intention was to allow the sling to flatten nicely, and so we did not pad the bottom out. We know some people prefer to have padding to protect their camera, but since we did not have a preference, and this was primarily an everyday urban sling, we decided to prioritize allowing it to fold flat.
@@ReworkGear Ok, thx! Appreciate the explanation. Are you planning a camera sling with similar features?
@ We’re not sure about this one yet, because we mainly focus on everyday slings. Is it just missing the padding for you?
@@ReworkGear I think it's not only about padding, I could put some foamy divider from another bag in there to have more protection at the bottom when carrying a compact camera with a small lens. I know that designing a dedicated camera sling is a totally different story cause you need not only padding but a wide opening, a different strap, dividers, ag zippers etc. but I really like your approach of using all the space also vertically. Apart from that: I'd also love to see a smaller version of the Toshi around 3 liters which also has a padded compartment for a small tablet. I mean it looks nearly perfect as it is but I think it might be a bit too big for some folks out there. Just my 2 cents.
@@till5520 Okay, I see... so it's like adapting the vertical space utilization for a camera use case. Thanks for leaving your feedback, and the suggestion for what you want to see in a smaller version as well. We have a running list of suggestions/feedback and we'll note it in there!
Just got the sling and can confirm a steam deck with a slim case can fit inside. Just in case some are wondering. Wish there was an optional strap to convert the sling to a chest rig seeing to where the attachment points are located😅
average of 4.8L and 5.8L is not 5.0L 🤣
@@PotatoSpudRucking Avg is 5.3L but generally for simplicity’s sake we will label it as a whole number, so that’s why it’s 5L!
All it needs is a handle in my opinion. I love reaching for my gear with the handle available.
You've looked into my mind and manufactured the bag of my dreams! I think this will be the perfect Christmas gift to give myself!
Just saw the review on Nomad Nation, as well as your vid's here. Really well thought out product design. Possible future update - add a top grab handle. Still going to purchase though, this will be so useful as expanded EDC use.
@@allieperson7722 Thanks for the feedback and support!
Will you guys add a grab handle in the future? I'm waiting for this feature. Will you also be making this in other materials such as Xpac?
@@Ryko000 We will have to take the time to consider whether adding a grab handle is feasible, so we cannot promise that it will be added and also when that will be released. Same for other materials - we do want to explore sailcloths, but that requires testing.
Loving the look of this sling, great job! Can the AirPods Max with the Apple “case” fit into the main compartment?
@@kevthwaites6354 Thanks! Yes, the AirPods Max with the case fits into the main compartment.
Can the sling fit an 11" Ipad?
@@abdalla_ashi It can’t fit in the padded sleeve, but can fit in the main compartment. Hope this helps!
Is this bag available here in Japan?
@@johnjanvelsaldo9830 We don’t have retailers in Japan, but we do ship to Japan if you decide to buy it on our website.
RECCOMENDATION: grab handle on the back of the sling, since it is a pretty big sling and can get heavy, just another way to hold it when in transit
Another reason for the grab handle is since the straps are removable, this can be used as a tech pouch as well. I have been searching for this 2in1 sling and the grab handle would make this perfect.
Me estan convenciendo de aduirirlo 🥴
Great product showcase! Awesome bag! I'm impressed. Purchasing now!😊😊😊
How concerned should i be with the durability of this DWR coating? How long does it lose it's effectiveness realistically? What I read about it: C0 DWR finishes are typically less durable than other DWR finishes, such as C6 and C8, and will need to be reapplied or replaced more often.
@@j0404t Great timing! We just released a new YT video talking through how we upkeep the water resistance of our bags, demo on the Toshi Sling 5L. We chose C0 because it’s PFAS-free, and PFAS can be pretty toxic to the environment. C6 is not PFAS free, though yes it does last longer. Hence we recommend you maintain the surface water repellency on your own based on how your usage goes. Check out our latest video!
Now, THIS is how you show a product. Well done! 👏🏼
All the features of the sling I’m looking for. Hope to see other colour variants in near future.

Are you guys planning to release a blue version? Same shade or an even darker navy. Would buy it in a heartbeat. So many black slings
We defintiely do have plans for a blue version but not in the near future! We are focusing on having more variety of products first before expanding our color options.
Received my Toshi a few weeks ago. Absolutely love it. Your attention to the small details really show, and you walked a perfect line balancing the pros and cons of every decision with so many useful and well-executed features. You both also showed amazing emotional intelligence is being able to shift your focus from being all-in on modular design and realizing the drawbacks that would come with continuing that line of thinking. Far to many people can't let go of an idea they fell in love with, but that no longer produces the best result. Excited to see what else you come up with! My suggestions for V2: I think a handle is essential and seems like a low pain, high gain decision. Same for a dedicated pen holder inside where the label currently is. Doesn't seem that these additions would involve lots of compromise or added costs as far as I can imagine.
Amazing to hear that you’re enjoying the sling! It makes us happy whenever people understand our vision and philosophy. Thank you for being one of those that do! We have noted your feedback for the top handle and pen loop, and those are definitely elements we are thinking about for v2.
@@ReworkGear how far out would you say the release of V2 would be? Great work on this sling!
@@twokitties7 The earliest might be second half of next year, but no guarantees. We need to gather enough feedback from everyone and take the time to consider everything before releasing a v2. Definitely not something we want to rush!
@@ReworkGear Ok, better hurry as I'm a fan of the clean design, minus the handle. For me it detracts from the clean lines and potentially gets in the way. I pick my slings up by the strap; it's not a bulky item. But looking at earlier comments I see you got lots of requests for the handle. Could it be an option or would that complicate your MOQ?
@ Hey there! Thanks for giving us your thoughts. Adding a handle does not complicate our MOQ per se. The decision lies more so on how we can elegantly incorporate it without changing the dimensions of the rest of the features of the sling too much. It’s really a feasibility issue. We definitely don’t want to fumble it!
Hi, do you have any plans for a 9L size soon?
@@ckimz Hmm not at the moment, but we’d love to know what you’d like to fit in a 9L?
@@ReworkGear Can we get 6L that can fit an 11 inch iPad Pro with keyboard?
@ working on it!
This sling looks great, just I'm looking for something little bit bigger. Maybe 7L. To fit some 11' or so tablet easily, along with other things. Also maybe some padding on shoulder strap?
@@realmiso I ordered the Toshi and the new Orbitkey Urban Sling 6L. Can't decide which to keep!
Are there any plans on making an X-Pac version? And just wondering how much of a lint magnet is the material? Had a Black Ember one before and one of the fabrics they used was a lint magnet, but they fixed it with a new version
We do have plans for technical fabrics, though not anytime soon as we are prioritizing our cash flow for other products that we have planned. The 420D recycled nylon that we are using has a slick and smooth finish, so it does not latch onto lint and dust as a more textured finish would. Makes it easy to wipe clean as well! Hope that answer your question!
@ thanks!
