If I go on twitter and say "I was sexually explicit with a minor" and people go "oh shit this guy was sexually explicit with a minor" you can't sue for defamation bc defamation only works if the person knew what they were saying was wrong, this would be the easiest open and shut case of "they firmly believed what they were saying because it was self-admitted"

@@zlkanglwrth2776 I didn't judge a damn thing without evidence. First off all, it didn't go to "the law" it went to the twitch legal team and NCMEC. Second, there is nobody with the facts of the case has said that there was "no wrongdoing", they said that there was no evidence that anything illegal happened. Things can be wrong and not be illegal, a man in his 40's texting with a 16 or 17 year old girl for example. That just happens to be exactly what he is saying happened and why he specified that "the person was above the age of consent in their location" while also admitting that it was a minor. There is also nothing stating that there was nothing sexual in the messages. Doc made it clear that he was, specifically, "not sexting" this person. And FYI, I have never once said that he did anything illegal.

I have no preference as to wether he's "guilty" or not, especially in a situation like this where there is no guilty or innocent. It's somewhere in the gray area. He DID do exactly what I've stated which is messaging a 16 or 17 year old minor inappropriate messages using Twitch's whispers. But as I said, that is not a crime so there's nothing to legally be "guilty" of. Please feel free to elaborate on what exactly you think I have wrong here.

As a huge doc fan I’m unhappy with the situation. I agree he does not care of the opinions however no one is going to collaborate with him going forward. I don’t see the support on his channel going anywhere though. I’m sure he’ll be just fine
