@@paulogtr1 No offense, your video is very informative and significant of your ability to extract precise chords and overlays from the intricate and engaging arpeggios of Genesis 1st version. Don't get me wrong. Arpeggio in Italian is when you play each single note of a chord horizontally. In English culture instead it is when you do some turns on the scales (playing over the harmony) and produce some superstructure that is called a "solo", let's say melody. Ok. In your video, precisely at 2:03. it seems to hear a subtle keyboard background, while instead in your video it seems like Tony is still playing the guitar. Did his role get reversed with Steve?

In music, an arpeggio is a broken chord, where the notes of a chord are played one after the other. In this part, they are playing an open chord on different guitars. @@paulogtr1 Sim, ele pensa como arranjador-orquestrador-compositor erudito, mas essa peça me parecia uma obra pianistica de Banks com linha melódica de Gabriel que é sempre mais teatral e angular que as de Banks. Peças curtas comoThe Lamia e Anyway me pareciam peças pianisticas de Banks com letra e melodia de Gabriel. Você me afirmaria que Time Table foi composta assim por Hackett? agora , no Genesiis ele fazia vários arranjos e barulhos inusitados. Na carreira solo, como ele podia compor tudo, ele me parece que compunha para outros tocarem esses timbres-flautas, oboé etc....

@@paulogtr1 Primeiramente meus parabéns e obrigado pelo magnífico trabalho. não quero usar eu tempo para meus esclarecimentos mas sou bastante curioso acerca da questão autoral acabei de ver no Whiplash uma matéria sobre o "The Lamb...." afirmando o que todos sabem, que Gabriel só fez as letras e os outros as músicas, mas isso nunca me convenceu pois a personalidade dele está na maioria das melodias e tem vídeos no RUclips com as Jams das gravações onde ele está sempre presente entoando melodias encima da banda. no "Seeling England...." tem jams onde se vê ele compondo Dancing With the Moonlit Knight-claro que tem 3 partes instrumentais ali, onde a banda compôs, e depois me parece que ele só colaborou com as letras de "I Kwon What I Like", -Hackett afirmou isso- "The Battle...-as letras e sua linha melódica...mas "Cinema Show"-que afirmam se toda de Banks e Rutherford, fica difícil de acreditar que não é linha melódica e letra de Gabriel, o mesmo em "The Fountain Of The Salmacis". Sobre Time Table, o baixo tem linhas lindas.
