the comfort character I've often imagined in this kind of way is Gaster. Why? Who knows, I ask my own brain this much of the time... yet he is a character that brings me comfort, for some reason. Since I haven't seen anyone else say it, I'm gonna step up and say that my comfort character for this senario is Fake Peppino. Something about his big smile and goopy skin just puts me at ease. I can imagine me sleeping in bed and he's just curled up sleeping on my legs like a pet, his melty head resting on my stomach, while he gently makes strange and distorted sounds.

My comfort character is N from pokemon bw... I'm an adult but my excuse is I grew up with the guy... so I just pretend he grew up with me. I love that man. Soft, gentle, doe eyed men with extremely complex world views who could easily kill you but they're in love with you and would never harm you and become weak to the first signs of affection... have my whole entire heart.

i ended up writing something small with my OC....he's an old fatherly bird man and he very quickly became my comfort character🥺 i would absolutely defend my baby with my life..... the feeling of soft, downy feathers against your skin, the warmth of another body tangled with yours, pointed nails prickling along your arms...you never thought such a wiry, anxious old bird could be so comforting. you can't help but watch as the feathers that line his arms subtly rustle with each low growl of thunder, the birdfolk's subconscious understanding the sound as nothing but a distant mumble from the clouds. he draws a long breath and snuggles closer, his lanky, feather-crested arms now wrapped securely around your frame, and...ah, wait. something hard pushes against your head, pulling you from the quiet. ...he forgot to take off his glasses again.

I imagine my comfort character sleeping splayed out across the bed, stealing all of the blankets, forcing me to sleep closer to him if i want blankets on this chilly stormy night. And of course i do. So when i get closer, he hugs and snuggles me like im a teddy bear. And i snuggle right back! <3 its shigaraki from mha 😳🩵 I'll hug that man even if it kills me

I was initially gonna use one of my crush characters but thinking about it, I'm gonna go in a different direction and pick Garazeb Orrelios from Star Wars Rebels. He's big, fuzzy and he'd be like a big brother figure who'd put up with my bullshit. Very cozy, would recommend.
