I said I left Rydalmere , uh oh thats NOT Sydney he said ...$110.00 , what pissed me off was I wasn't in a hurry , left Sat' morning and got to Rocklea Sunday arvo.

Fantastic video, brings back a lot of memories for me, driving a UD for Flemings out of Wagga Wagga to Sydney or Melbourne , up Sesame Street, over Little Sydney Harbour South of Tarcutta. but I heard you mention Mad Mick, back in the 70's was a driver called John Grills, he made a 12" LP that I have and he did a couple of songs about Mick , " Mad Mick The Truckie" and "Where Did Mick The Truckie Go" plus some other fantastic truckie songs , I was also at Kalkallo for the blockade 1979 , then 1980 moved to Brisbane to drive a Road Train Car Carrier Brisbane to Darwin for 2 years.
