He is not playing triplets, and that's was is written. He is playing straight eighth notes.

I was in a scenario where I thought my dad would do that to my mom or siblings, luckily my dad was arrested last year and we are all ok. I would say your worst case scenario came true but I don’t want to assume anything either ways I’m sorry that’s just tragic.

I used to be able to read the percussion sheet music, and was quite good at it, I was in all the bands from 6th grade thru my senior yr. And even played for the USAF DRUM AND BUGLE CORP. 😊
