I feel like they used Yusei as inspiration for Yuugo (the Speedroid duelits) in the Arc V anime, so I think it would be on brand if they said "screw it" and made hybrid support. They're both Synchro combo decks that end on wind-dragon synchros, and I honestly think the new " Speedroid Synchron" card is exactly that. The only thing that comes to mind (up until the new Speedroid support) when I hear "Synchron" is a Stardust combo pile deck. They even have a "Synchron" card that's based on Yusei's bike called "Wheel Synchron"! So maybe you're onto something, and it was intentional??

@@BeardedSnowlYGO They may well have done that. the thing is, any hybrid support seems to be from within the same anime... If they ever get to the point of cross-anime support, this seems like an easy pick. that said, Synchron is not an indicator on it's own. Synchron is wild as having insane archetype crossover. examples include fleur synchron, Performapal odd eyes synchron, and Rokket Synchron by name, along with revolution synchron being meant to sync with power tool on the side, being a slight crossover with morphtronics. Synchron may feel like a Yusei thing, but it's honestly gone beyond him, and it wouldn't shock me if it became more a generic synchro thing over time, while stardust stays more his.

You make a good point! It could just be my own head cannon, lol. I also remember seeing Yusei use Synchrons in 5Ds (unless I'm mistaken), so that could be where my thought process started. But yeah, it is a generic Synchro thing now that you mention it.

@ oh no, by far Synchrons is Yusei. the vast majority of synchrons work together with stardust support or are dragged into play by it, not to mention formula synchron was key in Yusei expanding his Synchro into accel Synchro. I was always more Jack Atlas or Chojiro with it.

Usually, I upload more of my interesting games (a highlight mix of ranked and casual), but I'll definitely start uploading more best of 3s for sure! Absolutely!

I did notice that some of the numbers are thicker than others. Also, idk if you also have this issue, but Omega will bounce between 97%-99% for 30+ seconds before booting up. Something is wrong lol

@@BeardedSnowlYGO if you mean CPU usage by bouncing, it keeps waiting for some time for the first start up during the day. Omega is losing quality 😔

They're usually quick to patch, so hopefully, they'll fix it soon!

True that! I've been loving the funny interactions with Floo since Tear format, lol. AGOV format was hilarious too when Unchained was teir 1 and did NOTHING against Floo lol. Ceasar is such a crazy card.. until the birds start flying down XD.

Maybe it'll work with the new Odion cards? A clash in look for sure, but maybe not playstyle?

@@BeardedSnowlYGO I had a specific source for glad beasts i can't remember the name of now... But a random Glad beast deck i saw from a few months back put out double Domitianus, Heraklinos with a discard, #38, S:P, and Cladious with the field magic searching the counter negate. so thats 3 seperate monster negates, 1 magic only negate, a backrow negate, and an S:P. interrupt. the Claudius is practically for show, but summoned via the 5 shuffle gives you two battle phases on your next battle phase, and summonable monster reactions to your opponent activating a monster effect. so say you punched through that line on your turn and somehow didn't negate claudius on the way? he could whip any Gladiator beast out of the ED as a response, so maybe even more heraklinos, Domitianus, or even surprise gyzarus for sudden explosions. The trick to all this is good Editor lines along with the new support helping circumvent Glad beasts battle requirement. getting Editor off the field after you summon it properly lets you revive it and use it's ED summon again because it's a soft OPT. sprinkle in Equeste chains (soft opt) to revive Editor via Comeback, of which both equeste and comeback have no use restriction, and thats how these boards pop off.

I have no idea lol, but it seemed pretty good to me!

I like to end on that board when I know they're top decking so can negate whatever they draw into and I can maximize my interactions on their turn (even though it might have been overkill on my end lol), but I'll definitely have to look at the replay again to see how I could've sequenced better and ended on Winds, Dreaming, Empen, and Avian. I think I needed access to one more normal to end on an Empen as well as what I had up, but I could be wrong, lol. I'm always striving to be better!

I'm not 100% familiar with the new lines, but I was definitely impressed with what they made, lol. The deck seems like it can make a pretty menacing board when going first, especially for being a "Battle Phase" deck!

Currently, I win about 7-8 of every 10 duels! The deck can definitely brick, and I'm certianly not perfect, but I'm very confident in my current build!

@ I honestly hope so. when the game breaks out egyptian based art design, im usually there with bells on. it's how i felt about Horus, im game for this. heck, i still play my own take on regular exodia sporatically to this day.

Speaking of Eqyptian themes, I'm excited to see what the new Odion cards can do in the new "Maze" set!

This deck is insane. One misplay against a good duelists piloting this deck, and I would've lost. And this being with a good hand, lol.

They were trying to cook something for sure lol. I do like the idea of SE Diabellstar as an extender for extra rank 8s though, but it requires either a bricky SE package, or that Quick-Play Spell. I'll lean towards the Quick-Play lol.

In MD for sure, but FK in the TCG (which is the format I play on Omega) kind of fell off after the last banlist.

I know, right!? When the FK structure deck came out, it could top a YCS! Even with consistency boosters like Ulcanix, without the SE or Azamina engines, the deck just seems.. fair lol

I was a bit confused myself. I assumed they could have made lethal, but I'm not familiar with the common lines used to make lethal on board with Vaalmonica. I assumed since they were constantly under 6 counters I'd be safe, and was hoping my forcing them to protect the backrow could keep them under 6 counters. also, the link didn't seem to make much sense up against my deck, but I'm not going to pretend like I'm a Vaalmonica expert lol. I also probably should have gotten rid of the field spell much sooner. The non-engine cards they used were rage inducing!! Though this is coming from someone that plays Shifter so it's slightly a double standard lol.

@@BeardedSnowlYGO frankly, im burned out on Vaalmonica after this last MD event. they decided to make one of the loaner decks pure lightsworn post their most recent support. nothing like watching as your board gets wiped and ALL of your of your support cards getting banished. frankly the most common lethal line in vaalmonica usually occurs through a duralume tri-attack, since on summon if not negated it can destroy the enemy monster line, then for 3 resonance swing 3 times at 2500 each without creation backing it up. Honestly against floo Valar seems like mostly a waste, but then Vaalmonica has enough problems between needed both archetype scales, and then some other cards to really go off. i had so many scenarios lately where i just bricked, be it on duplicates, no scales, or non-engine.

I wonder when Vaalmonica will get the Link 2 in MD

@@BeardedSnowlYGO I kept getting swept up by Branded and Tenpai, that I made a stun deck Dyna Fossil, Inspector Boarder, and all the rest of the villains. That, some Birds, Lab, and Swordsoul. Honestly, kinda burned out with the META.

@@BeardedSnowlYGO it's another exceed archetype I was vaguely familiar with. the support was pretty solid, sitting into the OG theme of the deck.

The only reason currently is the price. Once they are reprinted in Stampede this April I'll most likely be running it at 3 in the main if not 2 depending on deck size. Really good point though! And thank you as always for watching!

I agree.. its frustrating to see something being abused outside of its own archetype, especially when the archetype isn't currently "playable". And then that card is most likely to be on the banlist to keep the expensive cards of the meta deck (Fiendsmith) abusing that card from being hit. Its not to the same degree obviously, but I feel that way with the Unchained cards now that these Fiend piles (starting with Yubel) are everywhere. Sharvara will probably never be unlimited as long as Yubel/FS piles are relevant. And now no one even plays Unchained anymore. Obviously Unchained is still "playable", but the pure variant will never be as consistant as it was back in AGOV format. Even more so with Edge Imp chain. Fluffal is left in the dust where Edge Imp Chain is just a Chimera card now. Speaking of Fabled though, What do you think of the new support? I think the new support seems pretty strong! Though the new Boss Monster is generic so you know how that goes..

@@BeardedSnowlYGO yeah... ive seen Sharvara more than ive seen all of unchained. but it is what it is, huh. now im very much mad about edge imp chain.. because i actually REALLY like Furnimals, and seeing edge imps everywhere makes me just never expect them again. Fableds supports? well... lemme see exactly what im looking at. to answer your comment i saw a modern fabled deck and... it was a synchro spam fest to the point of hyper librarian. greaaaaat. but what do you expect when the deck can hit accel synchro stardust into dis pater and is all light demons? newest support then. full review! Behillmoth- can make a synchro from hand by discarding 3 cards total... in THIS deck? yeah, thats pretty good. and it can also help get others in the archetype out of the hand? I see why it would be ran easily. Gamygyn- a stepping stone synchro summon that can summon more monsters to board that gives others in it's archetype targeting protection AND can make you plus as you send it away. do i have to talk about how good this is? Leverzebul- a decently statted body on a boss that makes what looks like an improperly played board into a potential mass perma-steal nightmare, that can shuffle itself back for a later resummon if it gets taken out while getting you material. wow. Realm Resurrection- searches the other 2 fabled backrow, provides a discard outlet that results in card revival from multiple zones, and limited but more protection to your synchros. this stuff is honestly pretty great, payback for prior fabled era's even. doesn't hardlock you, but expects you to play fableds to really use the boss. it's also nice to still see in pure fabled Kushano is still being run as a 1 of. sidenote- in looking these up i saw one translation for the archetype name in japanese, and my goodness, i love it. Demon Roar God. just... WOW that sounds cool.

@DarkCT Demon God Roar is the Fabled OSG name!? Very interesting and different from our localization, but you know how that goes lol. I'm not sure when we'll get it ported in, but it'll probably be another "Battles of Legands" set like with the last Terminal World deck's support and Phantom of a Yubel. I hope the support can make the deck viable, but either way it'll be "playable". Its one of my friend's favorite deck so I know he'll be excited. Also I just reminded myself of what Kushano looked like and the art is sick! I know its just a glasses adjust, but it looks like he's striking a Jojo pose so I love it. Lol Edit: Also, a random fun fact! I was a Fluffal main before Floo came out. lol

@BeardedSnowlYGO seems to be, multiple sources settled on that as the translation. it honestly lines up considering the names are all kinds of interesting references, from various demons, to apparently Kushano being a potential reference of the sanskrit word Kushama, or "to repent". frankly seems pretty cool. no idea when it'll come out, glad you can agree the art is cool. so what if it's a glasses adjust- its one on a winged demon holding a book. it's that kind of art like King of the skull servants to me, it holds that aura of "you EFFED UP!" Fluffal is STILL so damn cool to me. id be playing it in MD but the cost just... painful. but i love puppets and dolls, so the themes on point for me. before you ask, just in case, no I haven't played gimmick puppets despite the new rerun in MD. something about it all felt so off.

Fluffal is still really cool to me too! Kraken and Saber-Tooth (and Fluffal Owl of course XD) are some of my favorite cards of all time! I think the support it got in Sythe was really cool, but it was kind of late and not really enough. Drawing like 6 off of the Bear/Wings/Vendor combo never got old though, I'll tell you that! I feel like with a good hand it can make some crazy boards (uninterrupted) but most of it wasn't really "Fluffal" and was just a worse Tenpai or Ancient Gear, as much as that hurts me to say.. who knows! Maybe it can work with a bunch of board breakers and OTKing with Wolf! Maybe I'll start cooking something up. I feel like in "modern Yu-Gi-Oh", blind "going second" wasn't really taken seriously until Tenpai. Or atleast it's been a while since leading up to Tenpai. Now we have a few decks that don't mind going second, and honestly OTKing was never a problem with Fluffal..it just dies to the hand trap war lol. Maybe I'll try to cook something up. I'll definitely keep you updated! Either way, I hope the deck can get some crazy legacy support like many other decks have been lately.

Hello! I explain it briefly in the deck profile, but the Synchros I play (and like half of the extra deck honestly) are all targets that get additional effects when sent to the GY off of Ultimate Slayer (a card I play in the side deck). If you go to the video where I show the extra deck I highlight over the card briefly what they do in the GY when I would send them off of Ultimate Slayer.
