my opinion, is that if you're using a shield, you're not maximizing the unit. you can get the matching armor perk and have massive amounts of guard and armor while using a two hander. Plus, once you get the claret (2h + Daze), you can disengage without retaliation.

Found your channel after buying the game this week. Will start watching this playthrough now. Just wanted to see if you finished the playthrough before starting. Really like your set-up and the way you explain things!

You can proc defensive riposte everytime you engage and disengage. Though its 50-50, its still better than to just re engage with taunt. I always finish my turn with my swordsman disengaged since my helmet has the stamp where he gains riposte everytime he is engaged by an enemy. I took bulwark instead of counterattack, since defensive riposte does the job of counter attack already. But the biggest thing about it is everytime you engage you get 70% protection, and fury everytime you disengage. So AoO basically does no damage. I dont have use for inspire from CA since i have a warhorse as my 2nd lieutenant. I use its inspire skill and the lieutenant skill on my swordy so each engage and disengage, i generate two valour. Extreme difficulty really depletes valour points quick, so i dont engage without it.

I never found the key in the Sawmill ‘attic’ on my own. Not until I started using L Alt for “interactables.”

Does this still work? I tried this and once the battle started I got +60 wanted level. Confused on why when I ambush them I keep getting wanted level but this does not add to his.

I forgot to mention that the bonus crit hit % you receive from Crime and Chaos path (C&C) depends on the level of the path. The bonus is as follows for every wanted level: - C&C Level 8: 1% - C&C Level 9: 2% - C&C Level 10: 3% - C&C Level 11: 4% - C&C Level 12: 5%

I think on console you cannot select starting region, it's always tiltren. This game is bizarrely addicting.

Hi everyone! I hope you're doing well. I just wanted to let you know that with the release of the Tavern DLC, they made some changes to other parts of the game including to Pitons. The function of Pitons remains the same but the coil of rope I mentioned in Tip 1 has been replaced with a piton asset instead. So you'll see two pitons going forward, one at the top of the rope and one at the bottom 😊😊

Interesting to watch you in Ludern. I happen to leave the place to last & then give up before I get there. Then I have commenced a new game.

Hey! Just caught this as I'm getting into wartales, and just thought I'd drop a comment as you look like a newer creator. Your content is great, your explanations are on point and you don't stutter or drone on. The only thing that's really rough is the mic quality. IMO it's almost more important than the video quality, the plosives, popping and crackling is really tough to listen to (at least on 2x). I'm not sure if you're in a position to invest in a microphone, but I think that's all you really need to start taking off I think :D Hope you continue creating content

So it seems Arthes' general level is 4-6 and we're significantly overlevelled! Each battle only lasts 5 seconds so I won't chapther the battles. We also completed the path of Trade and Craftmanship resulting in the game credits showing. I think this is one ending to the game but you can continue playing. I'll continue playing until the scenario quests in Arthes is completed 😊

The horde of civilians battle was interesting. I kept thinking how I would have survived this if I had come to this region first after Ludern. I guess I would have had a smaller troop which would have made escaping easier.

I found the burning of the effigy a rather interesting event in the game. Rather cool 😊 Definitely wasn't expecting it.

It was fun having the game introducing the game of rouste! Took me a while to figure out what to do 😊

I didn't really get to do a recap because the bandits were to keen to attack me once I unpaused haha. Let me know if you find the recaps useful or not. I'd appreciate it 😊😊

So.... I think I did the regions in the wrong order lol. I chose region-locked so that the game can guide me to the right regions for my level. Having now visited Grinmeer, I realised I should have come here after Ludern rather than heading straight to Drombach! No wonder the battles in Drombach felt so hard!! 🤣🤣

I almost left the treasure behind lol...

I really love bears and wolves and was looking forward to my first polar alpha wolf. But turns out, the skills aren't different from normal alpha wolves unlike snow bears vs standard bears. A bit disappointing but still fun to have different type of wolves 😊 So fun... I almost ran out of rope.

I always wondered whether the wondering dark cloud would be bad... now I know 🤣🤣
