Can Horror Be Therapeutic?
Can horror actually be therapeutic for some people? Today, at the Scary Saturday event at the Columbus Metropolitan Library, I was able to discuss the subject in front of a small audience. The conclusion might surprise some of you.

What happened on October 7th must NEVER AGAIN happen! I am proud to stand with my fellow Jews and our allies to say that Israel has the right to exist and to defend itself, we will bring the hostages home, and we will not let terrorists win! The thing about someone showing up to your door because they love your book is crazy. I would hate for that to happen. Your other points were excellent. You hit a lot of great points here, Rami. Writing IS hard work and it's not easy, but dang - it sure can be a lot of fun, too - and that's the main reason anyone should be doing it!

Writing is tough. For me, some days finding the right words is like trying to chip away through frozen ground.

500 words per day helps keep the self-doubt away. I usually get it done in the early part of the morning. I use a journal entry freewrite for a warmup.
That's a good way to get the creative juices flowing. I love it!
