This is embarrassing to admit, but I legit was pumping my fist in the air as he begun pushing Roberto away. This scene is legit one of the most hype scenes in anything to me now. Just the contrast of how over the top this fight is compared to ANYTHING throughout the rest of the series, yet how it somehow feels so built up to. It felt like this resolved so many emotions that were there undetected throughout watching the series. It is such a triumphant moment for a character who has had very little wins, right after he's gone through a major shift in his character in his prior scene with Tenma. Shit is amazing and part of why Monster has become one of my favorite pieces of media.

God damn it…THE GOOSEBUMPS when Lunge superhero flips Roberto onto his back with Lunge’s gun shoved through Roberto’s teeth? The badass Calculation line?? Genius stuff.

Seeing two of the most calm people in the series fight and actually scream in agony and pain was a great idea. Proving that deep down they weren't monsters.

Lunge is my favourite character in the series from the beginning to end. He is even my 2nd Most Favourite character of all time.

At first I hated lunge because he was only thinking tenma was the real killer but after watching full episode I found him one of the badass character. When he pick the big gun it was just so badass. And here I am after finishing the monster anime. Searching about inspector lunge from BKA.

This scene is badass but its kinda funny that immediately afterwards Roberto gets up and Whacks Lunge in the back of the head and knocks him out offscreen.
