See why the Hilton All-inclusive Resort in Puerto Vallarta is a top choice when traveling to Puerto Vallarta.
A few tips:
- If traveling without kids, consider the adult-only section of the resort in the Hacienda
- Enjoy the all-you-can-eat buffets, but make dinner reservations at the themed restaurants to have a wonderful culinary experience.

Stay For Long (.com) Review | Scam & Warnings | Travel Scam Reviews

StayForLong.com A company that gets you good deals on hotels (similar to Kayak, Hotels.com, etc.) Has pretty awful reviews: www.trustpilot.com/review/stayforlong.com Some report that Stayforlong took their money and didn’t actually book the hotel (so didn’t provide the promised service) Others say their reservations were canceled last minute for no reason. It’s difficult to get compensated/reim...
Very helpful...thank you
This is so interesting that you say it's a scam. I am a legitimate travel advisor with Archer/Evolution since 1/18/20. Yes there is a fee. I believe realtors have fees as well. And yes the mentors get 10% commissions but honestly I feel that is a small percentage compared to what I give to my agents with my trainings I host, my one on ones I offer. And I do NOT push for my agents to recruit. I teach them how to book. You are generalizing and I don't believe you have been in Archer/Evolution yourself to comment personally, have you? Prior to bringing anyone on my team, I let them know that it is a 1099 business opportunity that is commission pay. I also ask my prospects why they would want to join us. For me, it was never working for a boss again. I have booked over 3 million of travel since 2020 and have a team of travel bookers who knock it out of the park. So I take offense to this video from someone who has never been in our company.
Pyrimid scheme got it!
Like any business. What exactly do you think real estate agents have to go through and pay. Investing with a small fee is NOTHING.
Yes, they are total scammers. I booked and paid, got no confirmation and now they aren't responsive at all. Should've done my research prior to booking
This video is not correct at all. You have the understanding of evolution travel entirely wrong. You do not have to team build at all and can make a great living on travel commissions. I believe your information in this video is incorrect and misleading
Just got told you don’t get commission on flights ! 😅 yikes
What to do if I go to hotel and don't found my reservation??
Loving the comments ❤
I didn't do my homework and booked a hotel in Turkey for 10 days at a discount. I didn't suspect it was a scam because the listing was on the Trivago website. When I checked with the hotel after booking, they said they never received the reservation. I cancelled my reservation and got my money back, but the "service fee" was not returned although they did not offer any service whatsoever. I contacted Trivago, but they didn't accept any responsinbility and referred me back to Stayforlong. Definitely a scam.
I became a travel agent after meeting someone at a nail salon who inspired me. I overheard her talking on the phone, which sparked my interest. I had been researching becoming a travel agent for a while and found nothing suspicious or scam-related. Just to clarify, I don’t recruit agents. My focus is on selling trips, where I earn 80% commission and receive discounts and free trips. To maintain active credentials, I pay a monthly fee. Based on this logic, anyone who pays for credentials or licenses, like real estate agents, health insurance agents, life insurance agents, automobile insurance agents, or house insurance agents, would be considered part of a scam too, since they all have to pay to keep their licenses active in order to sell.
I prefer paying that monthly and earn thousands selling the best product there is ! Travel 🧳 !! The best job ever ! Of course we need to work for it and if it doesn't work for you, just stop paying the fee and come back without penalties! MLM it's not bad, it a marketing business...🎉
I booked the Labranda Alantur Resort in Alanya with Stayforlong from 8 -19 July 2024. The order was made through the same link that my sister used to book the hotel an hour earlier. I received a confirmation. booking confirmation to my email. Booking:502034218, SFL-63732D8C36. Then I read reviews on the Internet, that this company takes money, and tourists on arrival - are left with no booking. They have to pay again,or they are left without a hotel. I immediately called the Labranda Resort directly and it turned out that my booking was not there. I called Stayforlong on 9 June to clarify. I asked if they were sure - not dealing with a middleman company that had gone bankrupt (the resort itself had warned me about this) .They replied and assured me, that this is not the case, and my stay in Labranda Alntur Resort was confirmed. I received an email on 10 June stating that my reservation was confirmed. I printed this email and had it with my voucher. On arrival in Turkey, I was there at 1 am and it turned out that the resort had never heard of me. I showed the confirmation from Stayforlong, that everything was paid, but the receptionist was adamant. They did not have a room for me because they had never received any booking from them. My worst fears were confirmed. The resort told us to sleep on the street because they were fully booked ...It was the middle of the night and my whole family was there. My sister, my brother, my nephew, and my brother's children, that is 7 people had rooms -but I, with a friend who booked with me - did not have one. We called the police ... it was a terrible situation. Police didn,t help but the Resort found a room for the rest of the night. Charged us 200 euros in cash. In the morning I contacted Stayforlong by email and on the website. After a few hours, I received an email that they cancelled my reservation and refunded the money. I went to the hotel manager and he confirmed that he received a request about my booking on 9/07/24. This was the first date Stayforlong contacted the resort about my booking. Before they never had any reservations from them on my name. It is obvious to me, that that is their normal unscrupulous practice, I was the next victim of unprofessionalism in the company. My holiday was ruined because the hotel was fully booked. This trip was my birthday celebration. 9 members of my family arrived specially for me, but I was kicked out of the hotel. Yes, I received a refund but some 75£ missing!!! Do they charge me for the hideous fraud -they are famous for (all over the internet) ? I understand sometimes bankruptcy could happen...but they are doing the CRIME to so many customers- this must be not just a coincidence. I am so angry and disappointed because I did read about it -and called them for confirmation to be sure -not to be cheated. Finally trusted them because of my sister's recommendation... But they did it to me as well !!! Shame on you! Date of experience: 08 July 2024
WOW! this guy just spews false information! Maybe he should try and get educated on what I do for a living which is book travel to anyone in the world! I wonder how many times he's been reported for lies and misinformation. Joining Archer/ Evolution has been a game changer! I own my own business for less than it cost to pay for cable!!!
I have been with this company for over a year, have I recruited no, have I sold travel and gotten paid for it? Yes. If you do the research you will find that it cost about $2500 to take a course at your local College/university and then take the IATA exam 💵to become certified. Then you will need to become bonded, licensed and insured 💵💵💵 before you can sell. You will then have to register with suppliers or get a “Host” agency in order to have access to suppliers. All host agencies require a monthly fee and if you don’t sell you may get dropped. This company ( Archer/Evolution) offers numerous opportunities!!! And if you choose to recruit and build a team it’s up to you. Nothing is free however Archer/ Evolution offers a huge opportunity.
Multilevel business is ilegal this is not that kind of business
It’s a travel opportunity deal with a referral program. I have a year in the company and regret not done it sooner
Thank you for this! I almost signed up. “These people” are all over Linkedin, “recruiting”.
I have been utilizing just the travel side and have been doing very well. Part of what you pay for is the access at a preferred travel agency level to travel deals with cruise lines and other tour operators at their discounted pricing due to the volume that we are selling. That is pricing at a level that other travel agents cannot get because they don't produce at the level we do and so don't enjoy the perks and the pricing we can get for our clients. And if someone tells you everyone has the same pricing, not true. Pricing discounts are given to travel agencies based on volume of sales. So we leverage Archer Travel's name and volume of travel and receive the benefit that we pass on to our client. As for MLM, I pay 10% to my trainer for her time and mentoring process. it is not unheard of in many industries that the trainer is compensated by the person they are training for their time. But she wouldn't receive anything from someone on my team. And why shouldn't they be when they spend their time helping you get set up or finding the right tour operator. There are so many opportunities for training via seasoned agents in the company. There is literally a training for almost everything you will need, and if you do happen to find something that doesn't have a training video, call your trainer for one on one help. Everyone in this organization wants you to succeed whichever path you take. That is what I enjoy is the willingness by all to help their fellow travel agent. There are a lot of negative comments and I suggest that you check for yourself and not rely on people that may only know half of what they are talking about. Better yet come to a convention and see the participation by travel vendors from all over the world. They love us and want us and recognize our significance in the travel industry.
wasted my time while taking time off from my job what a waste.....
I am a mentor as well as a Travel Specialist with Archer/ Evolution Travel. I was never asked to recruit anyone! I asked if that was possible in order to have another source of income. In the beginning, I was really worried about paying a monthly cost, but after completing my certifications that monthly cost was no longer a problem because i was making money right away by selling travel. I absolutely love this company! Ive been with them since December 2023 and blessed i found such an awesome team ❤
Evolution Travel is not an mlm. You make a percent off someone that you sign up, but it stops there, when someone that you bring into the business you do not make anything off of the person, under the person that you signed up!!!
The Insurance industry does this everyday. An agent will recruit more licensed agents and make money off what they sell….
I don't agree with this. My monthly fee gives me access to a great opportunity to help people plan luxurious excursions at affordable prices. They don't force me to recruit. I have a wonderful mentor and team that helps me. They provide tons of trainings and marketing material for a small fee a month, which pays for itself out of your commission. Its a great way to make extra income and meet new people from all walks of life. In this life now, everyone is doing MLM. As long as you are receiving consistent pay from it, then i see no problem. Its a 1099, not a W2 position. And finally only pyramid schemes that don't produce are red flags. Archer Group/Evolution Travel is not a scheme or scam.
I booked threw them and its not a scam its best to call the hotel after few hrs from booking on that website
You need to do your research before you slander a company nothing you said is the way you said it. Malicious slander
Instead of guessing about something you don't know anything about, you should suggest that people call any cruise line, any big all-inclusive resort, or similar supplier and ask them about Evolution Travel. They will explain to people better than anyone whether this is a scam, or their much valued business partner and a great opportunity for someone to get a really fun career, as well as wholesale price for their own travels. Evolution agents are bonded and insured and the monthly fee covers that expense.
I remember one time my parents used stayforlong to book a hotel in Turkey, Izmir for 1000€ for 4 people and when we finally arrived, the hotel staff said that the reservation was expired, so we called stayforlong again, they gave us another reservation and it was expired too, this went on for an hour until we had enough and we lost another 100€ because of the absurdly long hold times, then we had to pay 600€ for another hotel… And in the end we never got our 1000€ back..
of course you need to do work for your business and nothing comes automatically. And you wont call your Gymn as scam just because they charge you 40$ every month to come and do the training with their equipment. With all the benefits you get I dont mind if there is someone making an additional 10% from my revenue.
It's complete HORSESH!T
I just sat through a presentation. Absolute MLM garbage!!
i think the only ppl commenting its not a scam are part of the scammy team
This company is a total scam outfit. My family just lost 2000Euros through a scam booking. Bank transfers done and then being given the run around with multiple emails and customer service reps that ping pong meaningless emails about connecting with their finance department. DO NOT book with them. They are a scam outfit. We’ll never see that money again.
Sir, i am an Evolution Travel agent and that is not an MLM , so, until spread bad información, be an agent first .
A lot of people forget that all small to medium travel agencies are hit hard by COVID and still recover, hotels closed without any communication and that in high season hotels overbook on purpose. That does not cover all issues but I can say stay for long might not be perfect but defo not a scam and the staff is very friendly!
Are you aware that most real estate companies work that way. You come into the agency and the person. Who brings you in gets a percentage rate of your commission. Then you build a team under the real estate agency and your team members share a portion of their commission with the team leader.
Sounds like every full commission job I ever had. The man above you makes a dollar off you 😂😂😂
ALL HOST AGENCIES CHARGE A FEE. I make GREAT money through Evolution/ Archer travel. This is NOT a job , it’s literally a business. You get out what you put in. It’s called “NETWORK MARKETING” and we have a lot of IATAN certified travel bookers. If you choose to be a team builder it’s completely optional (we have excellent mentors who offer tons of support btw) and you make good money to the point where your monthly fee disappears. You all recruit for jobs and never even receive the “bonus” they promise you. That sounds more like a scam to me. When’s the last time your job gave you free trips for completing trainings? I travel free throughout the year or get paid for booking my own travel, what “job” does that? js.. I am an independent contractor and business mentor of Evolution Travel and I’m going to stick beside em !!!
Today is 12.01.2024 😂😂😂😂😂 still not refund on my card. I said Stayforlong I will put every their email or answer on my request on the Google review. They changed slightly tone but still investigattion going on. It’s only 3 bad reviews in my life- but Stayforlong is definitely earned it. I booked and paid for one night hotel for December 2024 ( not 2023) so year advance £384 pound on Stayforlong without cancellation fees and full refund. But unfortunately we changed our plans and I booked holiday for different destination. Last year we used a few times Stayforlong for Orlando Yachts Club and universal studios hotels. Always was good. So our plans are changed and I canceled the hotel on the Stayforlong for NYC and got back only £100 refund. Rest £284 can’t get. Stayforlong customer service said they refunded- my bank said they can’t see£284.00 refund. Stayforlong replied. Dear Tatiana, We are contacting you regarding your reservation 8429705519. Please note that an amount of £ 284 was to your credit card on 2023-12-27. Please you the TPV reference to locate your refund at the bank. TPV reference 7658923071 We are available in case you have any questions or concerns. Kind regards, -- Lee-Ann Customer Service After 16 emails Got another reply Good Day, Thank you for contacting Stayforlong. Regarding your reservation 8429705519, we are still waiting for a response from our Finance Department. A reminder was already sent and as soon as we have an update we will inform you by email. Please bear with us. Kind regards, Mazzey Customer Service So I lost £284.00 - still keeping contact Stayforlong- but no money. My bank investigation Hi Tatiana, Anna here. Thanks for sending this over. Our team did get back and confirm the following: 'We can see the refund for £100 that was created on the 28th December and Cleared on the same day and we can see the redemption of £284 which was created on the 17th November but there we cannot see any refund for £284 from Stay for long. I would advise to check with the merchant again regarding the same payment as if the transaction is not on our system and we are not able to do much in this case.' I have passed on this confirmation to our payments team, who will review this as soon as possible. Once we have an update, we will be sure to let you know. Many thanks, Anna After many emails - no refund!!!!!! Got 10 emails with refund transactions number- but no money!!!!!!!! It’s unbelievable. But on the company LinkedIn Stay for long have wonderful time celebrating they are Christmas and New Year. !!!!!!! As Stayforlong registers in Spain- it’s mean According to the Association of Payment and Clearing Services (Apacs), the UK bank clearing system, if the foreign bank is in the EU, then it is the one responsible for sorting out the missing payment. EU legislation states that it is the responsibility of the sending bank to trace - and if necessary, re-issue - a payment that doesn't arrive at the receiving bank. So why do I get all emails to force me to check this missing refund. Pls Stayforlong you have to check where is my refund. Date of experience: 27 December 2023
Thank you for making this video. I just attended the presentation. I don't have a problem with using money to get money. It sounds like a great side hustle. Is there anyone who signed up and is successfully making the money that was quoted in the presentation? For me, if there is urgency in signing up, I give it a second thought and that is why I am here.
I been scummed for £284.00
You have to get your own clients to make profit. The fee is ridiculous.
I booked through StayForLong and when I attempted to check into the hotel they didn’t recognise my booking. Their business model is a bait and switch scam. I booked a resort on their website but it turns out they booked me into a old dirty condo across the road.
Stayforlong SCAMMED me! I paid extra for "Ocean View" as CLEARLY stated on my reservation and my receipt from Stayforlong. However, when I arrived at the hotel they told me it wasn't available. I immediately called the customer service number and they were absolutely of no help and did not compensate me in any way. Despite repeated calls, emails, escalations, Stayforlong did absolutely NOTHING to make the matter right. My advice for anyone considering Stayforlong is to STAY AWAY!
What’s there number ?
complete scam!! wanted me to wire money and refused to take a credit card for final payment...
This is not true. I had to ask about the recruiting part. This is a legitimate travel agency who gives agents tons of trainings to be an at home travel agent.
So then most jobs are scams bc if you refer someone and they ge hired you get a bonua
We have booked a reservation through your link and contacted the hotel, but there is no reservation at all
What you do???
Wow, what a weak presentation. Makes me want to run and join Evolution Travel, even though I have no idea who they are...
Fraud company ! Don’t use it!
