I Somehow SOLOED Raphael w/ Shitty Gear | Baldur's Gate 3 | Monk | Tactician Solo
Welp I ended up playing more bg3 this morning. I went back to house of hope and tried to solo Raphael! (well hope was there but she kinda died very early on lol), the glyph of warding scrolls really came in clutch fr.
(Also no, I don't have the kushigo boots cuz I did this on my first playthrough save where I didn't loot it T-T)

How do you have so many Actions and Bonus Actions?
1 extra attack from lvl 5 monk, 1 extra bonus action from wholeness of body (lvl 6 monk class), 1 more extra bonus action from rogue thief subclass, action surge from the fighter class, and haste potion!😊

Nice. I saw your Raph vid and am looking to replicate it with my own solo Monk. Haven't beat him yet without smokepowder involved. Sarevok is definitely WAY easier than Raph as solo Monk. I didn't even have full illithid brain (just full default brain) and with 23 AC + Cloud Giant all I had to do was kill his adds and then start yeeting him off the high ground when I was done punching him. Was very satisfying given how much trouble I had with him on previous solo runs.
True, cloud giant is honestly a godsend for monks. Goodluck on the Raphael run!!
@@bread1458 Thank you! Finally beat him legit last night, which was especially impressive given that I was level 11 AND he saved on Perilous Stakes. Stunning Strike is HUGE against Raph, making him lose is turn is huge. Definitely one of the strongest solo classes I've played yet. Equipment was: Mask of Soul Perception, Cloak of Protection, The Graceful Cloth, Gloves of Crushing, Bonespike Boots, Amulet of Greater Health, Ring of Twilight, and Ring of Flinging. Didn't have a shield because it never occurred to me that Open Hand Monks could equip them without penalty.

Why did your AC change from 27 to 25? Is it a Bug?
I think its bcs of the haste buff it gives +2 ac so when it ran out my ac goes back down to 25

In a nutshell: Herta thought it would be funny if she replaced the saw on himeko's drone with one of her puppets. This was the end result.
