Hey, I have a question, I'm currently in my undergrad 3rd Semester in India. I want to transfer to a US university. I have failed a few subjects, here in India, but I have cleared all of them with A's and B's. I have strong Extracurriculars. Will colleges in the US accept me as a transfer student even if I fail a few subjects?

Did they also look at your highschool transcripts while going through the admission process or just college?

What if i dont have much GEs completed by transfer? My course plan is geared towards UC transfer but it seems most wont transfer to USC. I also have a bunch if dual enrollment credits from HS would those count for USC?

Hahahaha. Quadratic Formula is like the basics of algebra. It’s a must learn for the STEM strand. It doesn’t take much effort to learn it anyway. 😅

ok, so this is definitely relatable but at my cc, i remember seeing that kid that knows everything on the first day and after getting over my initial admiration (and jealousy) i started studying what he did and now i became that kid and it’s surprising to me how quickly you lose that imposter syndrome when you can become THAT kid

I had this problem too, and once I saw those bald spots I had to get fake nails to prevent me picking. They fake nails have helped so much

I transferred from Santa Monica City college to UCLA.... I was mentored by UCLA Alumni within my major and even had direct interactions with the current UCLA professors before tranferring ... This all made the settling in part absolutely smooth

Community College Freshman here! This video made me feel SO SO validated! Lots of times I would have anxiety about transferring bc I planned on going to go CC for 2 years to get my Art Associates degree which means I would be a Junior by the time I go to a University/Art School. I worried that since I didn’t get to experience university as a freshman, so many people would be ahead of me and there are days where I beat myself up thinking that I should be good at what I do as an artist by now but yet I’m still learning to go better. So this really helped my anxiety to degree tremendously so thank you!🥹
