House of Cards Season 4, Frank and Fredy fight
Frank forgot to keep one principle in mind: Don’t f*ck with Querns.
Imma cook me up some of them REEEEEBS
The background to this is Freddy lost his business because of Frank, hired him through America Works and Freddy knew what he was….a servant. I don’t think Frank was being intentionally condescending but I can see why Freddy harboured so much resentment towards him
They would never be real friends. Never ! Freddie never really liked Frank since the beginning if you watch carefully... Without any specific reason ..... And Frank ..he just loved Freddie as a chef ... They could never be friends, they are very different.... They dont have anything in common ...
Is Kevin Spacey a good actor?
Very sad and funny at the same time
I think Freddy was the only one who could see who Frank actually was all along.
This was a stupid move by Freddy. Working at White House gets you paid a lot.
That wasn't the point. Freddy had been since the beginning Frank's little errand boy. Cooking him his ribs and following his orders. He got the job at the white house through pure nepotism, not because he was qualified. In that sense, Frank gave him everything he had, and had the power to take it away. This made Freddy a slave. Freddy desired freedom, and to make his own way not owned by anyone in that manner. He had thought Frank considered him a friend, equals even, but this scene showed Freddy that he wasn't. He was just an errand boy there because he was useful to Frank, not because Frank genuinely liked his companionship.
@@Freedom21stCenturi "We'll get you a raise or better hours". Oh yeah - Freddy was definitely experiencing slavery.
I like Freddy... but he was acting like a little bitch here
Man really love his ribs 😂
In real life, Fred would be exaggerating
Freddy knew that Frank was a p3d0 hanging out with epstein, prince andrew and ghislaine lmao
Scene came out of nowhere...
Moulds #brene
It's been clearly not a wholesome friendship between them all along. Frank never saw Freddy as a friend, or as an equal. Do you see you pet cat/dog as an equal and intelligent partner for you? That's how Frank saw Freddy all the time.
Someone should have said this till Obama, that asshole
I did not understand Freddy in this scene. He was one of the few guys Frank had never insulted never caused trouble to...
The dialogue in this scene is horrifically realistic, it shows how a pleasant and friendly interaction between two people can turn incredibly hostile with just a few wrong words.
The canon must already be loaded for a random match to cause it to fire.
"I tell you I got something good going and your first thought ain't Freddy congratulations it's make me ribs and whats my big send off? I got to cook you ribs" 😂
I'll be damned, it's Al from American Psycho! From the streets of NYC to the Whitehouse
All he had to say was "good for you" or "do what makes you happy" or "good luck" but he could only think about himself
The main ish here is evendoe Frank making such a request was arguably not the right thing to say,Freddys character is born out of a permanent scar due to a racist society he was born into and struggled to grow up in, believing nothing would ever come out of living as a second class citizen with limited to almost no fair possibility for a black man lowest in race ranking in his own country, America.
Best friends in college might end up business rivals and hate each other for this, Best love stories can end in tragic separations, and enemies might become best friends on and on. Any change in relationship dynamics will increase likelyhood of ending it and normally a 3rd party who causes the change. Frank should have done nothing for Freddy except coming to his place if he wanted to maintain the relationship as long as possible because thats how they're relationship formed and should not have told anybody about it.
Aww its sad cuz Frank clearly thought Freddy liked cooking him ribs lol
Bitter old black man mad at the entire world for the mistakes he made in his past!
How did the secret service not jump in ?
Great scene that illustrates both characters very well. I don’t think the purpose of this scene is to illustrate how frank sees everyone around him as just tools on his belt (the way Freddy sees frank). I think this scene more shows how frank, a person who parades his sociopathy as a valuable trait, also suffers from his genuine inability to connect with others on an emotional level. People saying frank used him clearly don’t remember the full story. If anybody benefited from their relationship it was definitely freddy. That’s why Frank is so baffled, upset, and clearly hurt. And when Freddy makes it clear that they aren’t really friends; then directly questions franks ability to feel at all it really hurts Frank. This is because while frank can fake and maybe even feel on a surface level basic emotions like hate, disgust, pleasure, glory - it’s complex empathy that is impossible to fake that frank is blind to. Freddy and Frank found their friendship transactional but for Freddy is made it hollow- for frank it made it emotionally digestible.
This scene is hard to watch but its fantastic.
Lol, It's like he thought to himself "I don't really want ribs, but i'll have them just to give Freddy the honor of cooking for me one last time".🤣😂🤣
Frank: this is the White House you will call me Mr. President! Freddy: you’re a motherfucka I cracked the fuck up at this exchange 😂
I’m genuinely confused why the black dude was being rude
Freddie is a serious lowlife Go back to your shithole Hood Where you belong 😊
Nah. The murderous, lying, politically corrupt shitbag is the lowlife. The other guy just cooks pork.
And that's what happens when a narcissist gets a taste of their medicine. Freddy was one of the few people who could cut Frank.
2:05 😂😂😂😂😂😂
A memorable scene. A lesson in social manners.
Freddie never respected Francis, this was bound to happen.
He didn’t stop respecting him until it became clear their friendship was a fallacy
gotta agree w/ francis here he was ignorant
Freddy turns in a nig here badly
how could anyone sympathize with Frank in this scene. Freddy is leaving for a good job and Frank asks him to cook ribs for him. what a joke
Is this how Biden lost his chef.
Frank did do loads for him, to be fair. He even visited his crappy apartment in the projects and offered to loan him money to bail his son of jail. How many Vice Presidents would do that?
Hated Freddy in this scene. His friend Frank gave him so much, it was his loser, criminal thug son that screwed everything up for him and why he lost his restaurant and franchise potential. And when he was down on his luck Frank saved him again, got him out of the kitchen washing dishes and gave him a job in the White House. What an ungrateful prick!!
Freddy would cook those ribs if Frank really wanted ribs...
1:42 ouch
Trump vs Steve Bannon
Lol I guess the former president still lives rent free in that empty vessel you call a head.
If I’d been Frank I’d invite Freddie for a dinner and cook it myself great way too win a ally
Wow just realized the subtle facial change on Freddys face. When frank says “ you should come up here one night” and he slightly smiles and then frank mentions cook up some ribs he suddenly becomes unhappy. Great acting just wow.
agreed. give that man an emmy for this
When this happened I felt like a child being left behind by his two loving parents.
Freddy has hatred towards Politician or Rich or white people , he just tolerated Frank because he is a good paying customer
