There are zero professional land surveyors taking on novice suveyor students and mentors! And you need to be an extremely talented innate surveyor, and you need to be a genius at all the subjects in Land Surveying to be considered to get a mentor. The professional Land Surveyors claim they have zero time, its too much of a legal liability, and you need a Land Surveyor Intern license first. There's zero opportunities to practice while you're in college/ university. You need to be a master at AutoCAD and AutoCAD Civil 3D and know how to draw everything dealing with design and civil engineering design! I don't know how you can get experience. I don't care how negative I sound, but I write from experience. I never could get any land surveyor to take me one even though I had my civil engineering degree. I had the math knowledge. Now I'm in a Geomatics Engineering program at university.
Thank you for sharing your experience and perspective. This has not been our experience here in Louisiana. Best of luck to you in the Geomatics Engineering program!
I am a surveying engineer, graduated in 1996, I am looking for a job opportunity in your country. I have experience in various segments, such as industrial assembly, civil construction, development of subdivisions, survey of large rural areas. I am available to provide additional clarifications. My level of English proficiency is intermediate.
The dream find 😱
💯
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I have completed diploma in geomatic engineering but i have no job..😢
Sorry to hear you're having a hard time finding a job...keep at it and it will happen!
Louisiana?
You know it!
@Fenstermaker yes sir...yall keep up the work and care for your workers no matter how hard the government tries to screw the young businesses
HP48, I like her style
❤ I like it
I got a job offer so I'm looking a videos to see how to do the job
It's a shame that Android phones don't have it. It's a very useful feature.
We couldn't agree more!!
Hello! I'm in Brazil and I work as a draftsman in Autocad, how are the job offers in this area!?
Hello, Lorran! Thank you for your comment. Job offers for AutoCAD draftsmen can vary depending on location and industry. In general, there's a steady demand for skilled draftsmen in fields like engineering, architecture, construction, and manufacturing.
@@Fenstermaker I thank you for answering me! I live in Brazil and plan to move in a maximum of 3 years. I work as a draftsman using Autocad, but I don't know if I will change profession or the market has an opportunity to continue in the area I already work in here in Brazil
This is amazing, thank you!
You're welcome, thank you so much for watching!
❤❤
I start a new job next week in this industry and I’m the same way. Thanks for the hope and wish me luck
Best of luck to you, Frank! You're going to do great 👍
I will buy fpv
Hell yeah we use that exact model
Aw yeah! You gotta have it!
Forgot your prism. Total station ain't much good without it.
Thank you for commenting, you're right in that we should have included the prism in this vid, a must have. 👍
what about a builders level?
We absolutely use those, mostly to transfer elevations on our control points 👍
These are pretty cool! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching!
This guys gotta be from Louisiana
100% Cajun Proud. We are based out of Lafayette. Thanks for watching 👍
Whatttt, that’s awesome ! You go girl 💪🏼
We agree! ♥
awesome
It should use a 2 stroke diesel generator with batteries, is that what it is?
Hey Justin, it actually uses 2 stroke gas with backup batteries 👍
We came across a section corner in the Apalachicola national forest in the early 1970s. It was solid lighter with Roman numerals cut into it
Oh that's interesting! Very cool find!
Amazing !! I work similar to you n Brazil. In a Sanitation Company we locate sewer cover with metal locator, and then we register using Trimble GNSS
I work at the largest sanitation company in Brazil as a surveyor. How could I become a surveyor in the USA?
That is interesting, do you use a lot of the same equipment?
Don't be fooled into thinking the Earth is not flat. Both work from the same benchmarks.
100%!!
Great explainer vid, but I have one question. At what point does the earth go from a flat surface to a curved one?
@@peacefultyrant_ Water is level it has no convexity.
Then why do water droplets exist?@@tonyornelas9374
@@peacefultyrant_it’s always curved, but the difference doesn’t matter on small projects. It’s just over 1/2 of a multimeter over 100m. That’s about a site size of 2.5 acres square If the base point is a corner and 10 acres if it’s in the centre. This is height only, not angular errors.
I assume the program that is used for mapping has “trigonometry” type calculators right?
Yes, you're absolutely right! Many mapping programs and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) utilize trigonometry calculations behind the scenes.
What is the aproximate price of one of this drones?? Havent seen any other so fit for agricultural aplications, but is it good in cost/benifit?
This UAV isn't outfitted for Agriculture spraying but can be outfitted with any camera (multispectral) for those uses. However, here's another option that may fit your needs-American made UAV for Agricultural spraying www.hyl.io/
Promo SM
I need this tech cause i don't need proffesional 3D scanner yet
So, there's hope for me?
Im in the same boat as you😅
Me
if i work under a surveyor as im in college, does that count towards the intern part of the timeline?
Hi @shuffleman38, that will largely depend on which state you're in. Here in Louisiana, it does count towards years of experience required to be licensed. We recommend taking a look at the Boards Rules and Laws to confirm 👍
LG v60... may it R I P.
Rocket engineers got us into space using those.
It's very upsetting that no other Android phones adopted a LiDAR scanner in their phones, especially those that cost over a $1000 USD.
We absolutely agree with you on that one 👍
I most likely buy ipad for lidar despite the fact that i didn't like apple in most cases because androud has no lidar in their phones.
Yeah, my Drone has 50 L gas tank. Oh yeah. 😂😂 and lift more than your Drone can handle.
Tell us more about your drone. We're always interested to see what else is out there 👍
I found source my 7th GGF , John Friend was a land surveyor for George Washington . He settled territory now known as Friendsville Maryland
I gotta taste them all
I’m the guy who doesn’t like beans in his chili.
Fun Fact Theonolites Tracked a UFO over Sandia National Laboratories in 1950 at 120,000 Feet it was 30 feet long and traveled at thousands of miles an hour.
Thank you!!!
You're welcome!
LOVE! the construction content!
Thank you for watching!
The fact I just randomly find my dad?
What if you can't open cut the road, what type of pipe is used?
Hi @twwtjohns, we sent Scott Courville (our Construction Inspector) your question and he replied, "I've never came across a situation where the road couldn't be open cut to install drainage. Depending on the pipe size needed, I'm sure boring can be done to make a pilot hole and then drive the pipe through the hole." I hope this answers your question. Thanks for watching!
Smell is a big give away also. Its like a musty, arm pit just out of no where but more intense. Kind of the way you can smell fish on a bed.
Thank you for commenting! Scott said he could smell them water moccasins from a mile away 🐍
@@FenstermakerCottonmouths have three defensive behaviors they will open their mouth wide open exposing the white interior vibrate their tails and emit a foul smelly musk . Wear protective clothes and shoes when working or walking in a habitat known for snakes.

I work at Hardee's and I was working at the window some random guy walked in and stole a lightbulb out of one of our lights
Sorry bro my bathroom light went out. Y’all had plenty more anyway
