I have a question from Swami Medhananda ji. What does he think about TM movement and the disastrous fee they charge to teach you Transcendental Meditation.

Swami Medhananda tries to wrap the entire Hindu philosophy around the personality of Shri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa. This is ingenuous, not factual and wrong. Like the Christians have infatuation with the single personality of Jesus Christ, Swami Medhananda tries to build a narrative that Ramakrishna started a new religious doctrine, which is pure rubbish and an insult to Shri Ramakrishna. Hindu dharma is not based on any single prophet or guru, unlike the Abrahamic religions. Hindu Dharma has many paths, many philosophies, many rishis, gurus and lakhs of sacred books in Sanskrit and other languages and has thousands of sacred practices. Swami Medhananda tries to reduce this vast tradition into a cult based around the personality, life and talks of Shri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa. This might appeal to those with cult mentality. But this is not a true appreciation of the vast and varied Hindu tradition, religion snd culture. 🙏🏽

This album is STELLAR. Writing, production, playing, singing, all so polished, mature and just fantastic all around. Phil's vocals kill on this album and he very much reminds me of Devin Townsend, as he can flow from a clear, operatic tone to a growl, to a full on metal stance seamlessly (and effortlessly, if you see him on video). Cannot wait to hear what they do next, and hopefully they get to the Philly area for some live shows soon!

Swami ji what does Krishna means when he says I am beyond kshar and akshar. I am beyond Maya world and nature. I am beyond transient and eternal Atman Brahman. What is beyond Atman Brahman if there is??? Parmatma Parbrahm is it called. 15th adhyaya 18th shlok Bhagvad Gita.

God is illimitable (ie) Humans with limited intellect cannot conclusively categorize God. There could be multiple dimensions of God (ie)Nirguna/Nirakara, Saguna/Sakara, Saguna/Nirakara etc - But then there could be more that we simply are not aware of. In my humble opinion, this could be what krishna is hinting at in the above quoted passage. A "Vigyani as per the ramakrishna tradition is one who is able to experience God in more than one dimension (ie) Attain advaitic non-dual realisation and also attain the realisation of its Saguna dimension (ie) as kali,Rama, Krishna etc.

I am an Australian who has been in Vedanta all my life aided by my mother who took initation in 1955 in Ramakrishna tradition. I am a senior citizen and ask everyone why there is an explosion of mental health problems seemingly world wide. So many answers come none of which satisfies me. I am secretly convinced the reason is a decline in authentic spirituality. The problem is to translate this spiritual message in a modern comprehensible language. I am very happy today hearing both of you in a wonderful clear didactic way explain Vedanta and Shri Ramakrishna . Many Thanks.May this podcast gain a wide audience.

Gods Shiva Vishnu Devi Hanuman are those who have already realised themselves as Brahman/Atman and then they are manifesting their divine powers reality in real life by traveling flying in sky prakat antardhan taking whatever body form we want like by sankalp will power Ashta siddhis and nava nidhis. Can we also attain similar powers once we realise ourselves as Brahman??! Only then one will be inclined to become Brahman Atman and leave this human form.
