Great episodes so far and great reactions! This anime is good and one of the better shows to watch this winter. I still am slowly remembering parts of s1 each episode. After watching so much anime this past year, and being middle-aged, I am finding myself more interested in story and character development than action. This anime however, has such great fights and animation that it powers thru with the element of "cool" so well that it adds a great variety to the mix of shows.

Something about CHISAs voice just draws you in. Its really just so beautiful to listen to. When i first heard her perform this i was just in awe, her vocal prowess is just amazing. I wish i heard that live and experience it. Should watch the other performance when she was under the weather, that one was very emotional.

CHISA has been covering this one since her TRAINING in the Documentary Series “XTRA XTRA”. Yep, they are now International Performers. XG’s VOX Line hit this one out of the park. 🤯💫✨♥️🪽

You gotta do her "i'll never love again" performance, I feel its even more powerful. Shes such gifted singer.

The rap line has always had the spotlight for XG and I'm glad this world tour has finally got people to notice that the vocalists are just as good. XG's discography doesn't do Chisa and Juria enough in terms of showcasing their full abilities. Some of the songs they covered during this tour are not easy at all to sing. They've always been the backbone for XG and their stability while performing is rock solid. I can't wait for when we eventually get official subunits/solos from them to finally see what they can really do.

She performed that when at the previous show she wasn't feeling well, then fought through doing another hour but couldn't do the last part of the show which was like 25 mins. This was Chisa singing her heart out because singing is her entire life. Last year she was the biggest reason the vocal line no longer was seen as somewhat of an afterthought due to the fact that the rap line had gotten so popular because of the TAPE series when she thought it was better to do Losing You with her other vocal members Hinata and Juria nicknamed JHC fro VOX #6. That did so much for the entire group but especially Hinata who showed that she's way more than just a sub vocalist and it elevated the vocal line to another level where now the vocal line and rap line are seen as equals by the audience.

Not sure which performance from the Europe tour but Chisa wasn’t feeling well and still performed at a world class level

What really is the icing on the cake in that last scene, I think, are the words of Askeladd "I'll play with you," right after he has killed Björn. It kinda puts into perspective how small minded Thorfinns quest for vengeance has been in comparison to this old veteran's goal of safeguarding his people by living among men who he hated and having to kill the only one he really felt close to. Here is a man who has seen and lived through so much suffering and hardship that this small pup's barking is merely an annoyance to him.

Zoltraak became the foundation of humanity magic. It was made 80 years ago so it's extremely generic yet superior offensive spell. Its incantation was beautifully constructed and polished to the point that human can understand and utilize it. Also it's potentially the quickest spell(said by Frieren). Because of all this reasons ,Zoltraak is more effective in fight than the flashier spells(elemental spell) this day and also the elemental spell has disaventages in some battle fields.(you'll see in the next exam)

I like the explanation of the magic, how Zoltraak is magic power created from your mana and the shield spell was developed to defend against it. However, the shield isn't as effective against physical objects which is why mages of this era use those various physical attacks (like earth, ice, water, etc..) since it uses less mana to manipulate existing matter than to create something from nothing. While this raises all sorts of new questions in itself, it was at least mentioned in ep.9 why Fern still uses Zoltraak (since she's such a quick-draw with it) and was not taught to use anything else in a fight, as mentioned by Fern when she fought Ehre last episode, saying to her, "It is enough to defeat mages of this era."
