Thank you so much for posting this -- the alto part is hard for me to find sometimes and it is SOOOO helpful! You're doing a great service to Choir singers everywhere!
Does anyone know if there is a video with a choir singing this as I need to learn it and it’s difficult only being able to 1 day a week so I’ll need extra practice. Any suggestions?
Thanks for your very helpful teaching videos, Dewin !! I'm a soprano, but so nice (& necessary) to hear the other parts too ! Did you also record the Tenor & Bass ? If so, those would be great, too ! I love your accent...can't guess where you're from, though ! Somewhere south, or Midwestern...:) I'm from KS, but transplanted to So California years ago. Blessings !
thanks so much :) i was having some trouble learning this because the sopranos overpower the altos in my choir and it makes it hard ro hear each other and learn as a section hopefully ill b able to help the other lost souls in my section!
Thanks for your kind advice. I took an opportunity to listen to it again, and I think the tempo is perfect. Especially when trying to calm the anxiousness of a sixteen (barely) year old tenor who is trying to learn to maintain a vocal line and to anchor the octave leap.
I CANNOT THANK YOU ENOUGH!!! I have a small but mighty church choir and this is just the solution to bring us where we need to be for Advent 4 Sunday. Manny, many Thanks! djs137
After the concert, sixth period choir class should get to go on a picnic or something really fun and cool like that. At least, that's my humble opinion. Sixth period might have you after lunch one day I think? Maybe? Possibly? Should be looked into. OR, perhaps a whole day can be taken for a choir field trip. Now that'd be fabulous!
This was very helpful for All State thank you
I enjoyed stumbling across this. One of my very favorite tenor parts!
Still brings tears to my eyes - fourteen years later. Thank you, Dewin! KWB

Thanks, Dewin, I'm so happy I found this. I'm not a trained singer, but I love to sing and you really helped me out.
Thank you!

I’m not a very accurate pianist.
Dewin Tibbs this helped me for a piece i had to sing this morning. i appreciate this.
Nicely done.
Thank you, this is very helpful!
Zeer rommelig. Waarom speel je niet gewoon de noten zonder opmerkingen en gebrom?
