Some of you will immediately recognize what the inspiration is here... If not, boats are key :) not my best, but I love the original far too much to let it pass. The layout is comparable, but not in terms of notation scheme. During the autumn, I had been working to start a series of pieces called "embodiments" that describe certain scenes or moments that inspire me. This season is certainly the focus of this one. I apologize for the strangeness of the sheet music/ for whatever reason, the notation software decided to double the notes of the bass clef and condense everything into one staff. Im not sure wtaf happened...

I've started playing around a lot with the delicate spaces between passing notes. There are very unique colors and textures that can be realized during such intervals. I mean, I like the idea of outstretching manifestations or semi-evolutionary tonal incorporation, but i find sometimes the underlying feel can become corrupted... I just use a slowed and reverb website, but only edit within the range of reverb; sometimes i might space apart the individual hz sequences in later editing to make it more crisp

Gorgeous! I wish I could compose. Everything I write turns out to be garbage! Oddly enough, this piece reminds me of Ravel, especially around the 9:30 mark.
