My favorite is The Bowser Room because Chris (from OneyPlays) created a hoax screenshot that he took to his school and told his classmates “Look It’s Real” and the bowser room screenshot was made way before everyone jumped on the whole “Every copy of Sm64 is personalized” thing.

I remember watching that Marty video from back in the day Back in 07/08 when I was a kid I miss this era of video game myths and rumors back then I dunno just had a mist of mystery to the games I loved and grew up with
There’s something so darn charming about them. Gotta say, I’m surprised how game mysteries till keep coming around! L is Real is a great example. However those old ones like GTASA and those made on Windows Movie Maker are totally next level!!
The PS2 would absolutely NOT be considered a supercomputer at the time. Even the cheapest SGI workstations made 10 YEARS BEFORE could outperform it.
