I was using Instagram for my music for like 3 years. I used to get maybe like 20+ likes, now I’m lucky if I get 2-3 likes. And views went down from a few hundred to like 20-30. Not even worth it! And I don’t wanna try to fit in with the trends or algorithm, I wanna be true to myself! (That’s the whole point of it) So this way I get nothing, it fucks with my mental health but I just feel I deserve better than instagram. I haven’t found any other platforms to replace it, not sure what to do! I will always create and enjoy making singing videos but can’t share

My breakup went from my ex, myself, and our families being very excited about our possible engagement, to my ex abruptly walking away for seemingly no reason. With no closure to me. As an aspiring musician myself I deleted my instagram because I saw no return on my investment when posting my music on instagram. But on my RUclips channel it’s the total opposite. I get more positive feedback and engagement from my RUclips channel as far as releasing music and I think it’s better that way if you’re a musician, artists, especially if you are running a business, you are better off not having instagram at all
