We have meditation to stimulate the social brain regions involved in cognitive empathy and theory of mind. It has been proven that those same social brain regions that meditation stimulate turn on during face-to-face social interaction. With a few once in a blue moon moments where the cerebellum also activates together with those meditation-activated social brain regions during face-to-face social interaction. We even have Neuroptimal neurofeedback and interactive metronome. Also, the social engagement system can be enhanced with the integrated listening system which was created by Dr. Stephen Porges. Improving interoception will stimulate the insula and ventromedial prefrontal cortex. Foot massage was even discovered to stimulate two brain region for face-to-face social interaction, the orbitofrontal cortex and the right posterior superior temporal sulcus. That does not sound like a very fun existence to have when you are on the spectrum. The way we help those on the spectrum needs to be revolutionized. I really mean it. i for one will be the first one to do so. It would be great if anyone reading this will step up and revolutionize the way we help those on the spectrum. That means not having siblings take care of those on the spectrum. Also, it means changing the way we take care of those on the spectrum.
