Probably because Paramaribo doesn’t offer good business class catering. Outbound flights from AMS offer better food than this

@@sdf6508 As a paying customer I don't care where they load the food and if it is an outbound or inbound flight. We expect in both directions the same service. But to be honest: at the moment it doesn't matter if you fly from or to Amsterdam, it is always the same bad food.

@@marten.travelling.11 That’s not how it works. Airlines don’t carry food for return flights. Keeping items chilled and fresh for a return leg is also a major problem. The last thing an airline wants is an outbreak of food poisoning and also soggy meals with stale bread and pastries. Ambient items can be carried over but the whole operation of catering a flight is wonderfully choreographed between the caterer, handlers and airline to minimise the time it takes to completely restock a plane with sufficient food to offer meals and meal options. In my experience KLM meals were great but I have always flown to/from major hubs with them

@@sdf6508 Of course they DO carry food for the return flight, because on many destinations is no catering service. Mostly destinations with few flights, like Kigali, Entebbe, Dar Es Salaam, Surinam and and and.

Correct. Only with MILES. Never pay for this bad product and bad service.

@@anishroopramyt_surinam Yeah thought so - because as of in the last 3 months, BVU/BVV/BVW were the only remaining 77Ws with old business class. BVV and BVW have since then got the new seats, BVU is the only one remaining now.

@@flybyanuj On my way back to Paramaribo, I flew with BVP - Jasper which had the New Business Class seats! Its a very big upgrade + the privacy is on top now, I like it alot!

@@anishroopramyt_surinam Nice! I flew BVB and BVN (AMS-SIN and SIN-AMS) and experienced the new seats as well (I was on seat 8K). Sadly didn't get good take off videos, as they were night departures, and KLM weirdly doesn't turn them off.

It’s a shame KLM does it’s announcement mostly exclusively in English without Dutch. Even on this flight which flies from one Dutch speaking country to another Dutch speaking country. It’s ridiculous
