Thomas Wayne is a great dad. Doesn't ignore his son or brush it off. He can almost immediately tell there's something wrong. He doesn't even ask why or even ask to repeat himself. When he tells Martha to go, he comes up with a reason why he wants to go, sparing his son embarrassment. Be like Thomas Wayne.

Anyone else curious about how Hannibal managed to steal Chilton's pen? I mean he was in a straitjacket while secured to some kind of hand truck with his head immobile. How did he get a hold of it especially in the few seconds he was alone before the guards came in to wheel him out to bring him to meet the senator.

Barney was always respectful towards hannibal which did lead to him not going after Barney after he escaped. Too bad for Chilton.
