Blaze Bayley And Steve Harris Want to Kill Someone After The Song.
Is that hellhammer on drums?
No energy to the stage 🤔
Too faast...
Abbath is a funny guy anyway, especially when come to drinks i guess
Embarrassing!!!! Poor Blaze !!!
The reason Blaze is off-key and the fact that him and Steve are angry is becasue someone in the front row kept spitting on them. It has little to do with Blaze's actual ability - he was just pissed off and distracted.
Blaze is amazing there is no doubt, but he is a baritone and it is almost impossible for a baritone to sing the trooper in standard tuning.
I'm sorry but Blaze had no business fronting Maiden! TRAINWRECK!!!
Unrated voice ,he is a great singer but not for maiden I’m his fan
What show?
What show?
He's more like a WWE star than a singer.
Gers's solo at 1:53 - 2:12 plus the sheer awfulness of Bayley's vocals all the way through make this sad and painful to watch and listen to.
What is the tuning on this guitar??
What happened in the end?
1:43 to 1:50.... I literally had to cover my ears. You can almost read it on Steve's face - "Bayley was a bad choice..."
Whats happening here?
Le quedó grande a Blaze Bayley Iron Maiden. Pésima actitud!!!
why the fuck did they accept a low registered singer and didn't even lower their standard tuning?I love Steve Harris but he must have been pretty fucked up at the time...
Am I the only one seeing him as young Lemmy?
yeah blaze can't some trooper for shit.. but at least his wife didn't get banged by Niki Sixx.
the last "old-stylish" Maiden song. Not a song after this, can reach the '80's VIBE' as this tune. a masterpiece!!!!!!!!!!! (you may say The Wickerman can get this vibe, but not the entire song. The same for Out of the Silent Planet - I love both, obviously.)
wtf happened at the end there lol
The Blaze years were very strange for Maiden's decision making. Not a single song was modified to accommodate his voice, but when it came time for Bruce to sing 'Lord Of The Flies' they changed the key and Harris/Murray/Gers all relearned the song just for him.
How the fuck did that talentess cunt ever get into Iron Maiden ?, can't sing for shit
Blaze just stood there singing, Bruce runs, plays roles; There is an abyss between them not only in the vocal
he's not a bad singer, just doesn't have the range
This is the first thing I have ever heard by Blaze singing with the band. As I don't really care much about Maiden past Powerslave. If I were to judge by this performance it would say he is horrible for this but I would actually have to here more of what he did with the band in the studio and other live performances. This particular one is not good
nossa, que presença de palco! hahahha
Blaze is a good singer, I'm not trying to sound like a Dong rider but I still prefer Bruce's voice, but Blaze's is ok too.
Fxcking fanboys of bruce...
Blaze is an ok singer, just doesn't fit with the Dickinson parts that are higher, like The Trooper. He has his stile, but replacing Bruce is very hard. I gave him a chance, but I have to say this is not the best Maiden period...
Funny how people are happy sucking off Bruce but don't realise that this is exactly how he sounds singing this song now.
Bro listen to them on this recent tour. Of course Bruce sounds aged as fuck. But there's melody in his voice and at 58 after beating throat cancer, he's still as on point as a performer as he was when he was literally 25.
That's fucked up. Bruce sounds exactly the same as 20 years ago, and considering he recently went through a tongue tumor and chemotherapies, that's pretty awesome. Bayley will never sound as Dickinson, man, never.
maiden were irrelevant for an entire decade. lol just forgotten.. playing smaller venues.
blaze's singing is a massacre on this song, no doubt about it, but not his fault, he's actually great singing songs written during his era, but that was awful...I understand the band wanted to play their best songs, but maybe it was asking too much to perform the trooper without bruce, you need to have the singer to perform such songs
Blaze was an ok singer, not my style. The problem with him being in Maiden is that he had to take on the role of Dickinson, which is no easy task. Its Maidens fault for choosing him. His voice type is not even close to a high tenor like Bruce is. They were setting him up for disaster when they had him sing Dickinson songs. If you look at albums with him on it, He can sing it. Lets not forget about The Clansman and The Sign of the Cross. Both were epic, and we should be happy that maiden wrote these songs while Blaze was in the band. Bruce being a high tenor, and possibly can sing the range of a baritone had no problem singing these songs, but Blaze couldn't do it vice versa.
Blaze was the one that should have been killed...he fuckin' assassinate the song!
Worst era of Iron Maiden....
when bruce dickinson left they should have brought Paul Di'Anno back because blaze Bayley sucks
Mehdi Saad lol Bruce is back since 1999
Blaze didn't want to ruin this song. He's really great vocalist but "The Trooper" is not a song for a voice he has.
Pobre Blaze...rsrsrs'.
I did like Wolfsbane though
Well, definitely a shredder
...I think that Blaze has sung very well in the two studio album, but for me Bruce on stage is amazing...for me Bruce sing the live tracks from two Blaze's album better than Blaze... then...was impossible for Blaze sing tracks like The Trooper or The Evil That Men Do...this was a terrible performance!!!
Iron Maiden presents: *HOW TO KILL A BARITONE SINGER*
yep and they did
Fred Mercury was baritone too IIRC, he just learned to sing in the countertenor range.
Blayze was initially hired because his range would allow him to perform some of Paul's material that Bruce struggled with, and take Maiden in a completely new direction. However, fan response to Blayze was overwhelmingly negative. Much more so than when Bruce replaced Paul, which was bad enough. This bled over into the band, and they kept using material that was too difficult for Blayze. It was hazing to the detriment of the band and it's material. They made him sing the Trooper and Run to the Hills, when he should have been singing Killers and Running Free.
